Overview
We are looking to hire entry-level Machine Operators with no prior experience.
These positions involve running machines that make cutting tools for the label and envelope industry.
The work is very hands-on and requires basic computer and math skills.
Position Type + Hours
This is a permanent full-time position, 40+ hours per week.
Hours of work are Monday - Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays
1st Shift - 6:00am to 2:00pm
2nd Shift - 2:00pm to 10:00pm
3rd Shift - 10:00pm to 6:00am
Requirements
Basic mathematics and computer knowledge are required.
Ability to read, comprehend, and write English at a level to effectively use/interpret instructions.

Position Summary:
The Finishing Inspector is responsible for the inspection and editing of converted press product using a slitter / rewinder, finishing it into the correct format as dictated by customer specifications. The Finishing Inspector is responsible for meeting customer requirements while conforming to company standards for quality and job parameters.
Essential Functions:
* Inspects printed products to assess and evaluate quality conformance to specifications.
* Discards or rejects defective product that does not conform to requirements for print quality or product functionality.
* Operates finishing equipment at required speed to ensure proper slitting, alignment, and roll profile.
* Examines job orders to determine details such as finished quantities, production times, packaging specifications, and shipping requirements.
* Notifies supervisors and other personnel of production problems, and assist in identifying and correcting these problems.
* Loads, positions, and adjusts master press rolls on holding fixtures or in equipment loading and feeding mechanisms.
* Moves printed materials using lifts and transports them to storage or finishing areas.
* Pushes buttons or moves controls and levers to start and control finishing equipment.
* Monitors finishing equipment in order to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions; make any necessary adjustments.
* Maintains, or adjusts equipment using proper preventive maintenance techniques.
* Records finishing data specific to product quantities, copy position, packaging, and shipping requirements using the appropriate quality control forms.
* Responsible for verifying critical quality conformance to proper line clearance and product segregation processes.

* Ensures adherence to all quality control processes and procedures and actively supports the company's internal audit program.

Aseptic Production Operator IIAs an Aseptic Production Operator II, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of aseptic manufacturing processes and equipment. You will focus mostly on the Aseptic Block Equipment (Blowmolder, Filler, and its peripherals devices). You will play a crucial role in maintaining sterile conditions and producing high-quality beverage products. As a senior production team member, you will also provide junior operators guidance, training, and support.
Key Responsibilities
Execute aseptic manufacturing processes in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). This includes preparation, setup, operation, and monitoring of aseptic blowing/ filling, cleaning, and sterilizing the aseptic block equipment. Knowledge about Chemicals used in the Aseptic Block Equipment and their critical interactions (GHS & SDS).
Overall knowledge about Aseptic Production, such as basic concepts about Microbiology and pH, Low Acid and High Acid Products, and causes of sterility loss.
Monitor all the Aseptic Block equipment Critical Control Points (CCP), using a Human Machine Interface (HMI), to ensure the final product sterility is maintained. Identify and address potential contamination risks and work with your Supervisor and Quality/ Maintenance Teams to mitigate/ eliminate them.
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Aseptic Block Equipment, such as filling and blow molding machines, sterilizers, and filtration systems. Detect equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine controls. Be alert to the alarms and act quickly to adjust equipment to prevent unnecessary downtime.
Perform routine equipment maintenance, which involves cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating (CIL) the Aseptic Block Equipment. These routine activities will be performed under Maintenance Technician supervision to maintain good equipment performance.
Follow Quality Control Niagara's procedures for in-process checks, sampling, and inspections to ensure product quality and compliance. Perform visual inspections, measurements, and other quality control tests to identify deviations or defects and take appropriate corrective actions. Responsible for testing Torque, Top load, Bottle Section weights, and Cleaning/ Sterilization Chemicals concentrations (ability to perform Titrations)
Responsible for accurately documenting all production activities, including Production Logs, Machine Reports, Quality Reports, and Downtime Reports, using software such as Presage and Infinity. Adhere to cGMP guidelines and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance with Niagara's Quality Systems and external regulatory bodies.
Maintain a safe working environment by following safety protocols such as Lock out Tag out (LOTO), wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), Housekeeping and participating in safety training programs. Report any safety incidents, near misses, or hazards to your Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
Performs size changes properly and accurately as specified in KOP's
Able to perform all duties of a Flatbed Set-up & Operator II
Recognizes problems with machinery and resolves appropriately
Identifies product flaws and cause
Communicates with maintenance and other operators
Communicates with scheduling department
Train new employees
Gives recommendations, advice or guidance to others
Inspect knitted products as specified in SOP's
Follow priorities and workorder due dates when completing work
Actively participates in department Quality meetings and Lean initiatives
Assists in the training of new Flatbed Set-Up & Operator II
Other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
Education-high school or equivalent
1-3 year's experience manufacturing
Knowledge of calculator, maintenance tool equipment, knitting tools
