Performs all work adhering to OSHA and H&K Safety policies
Operates the milling machine on road construction projects
May perform other related duties such as shovel work, setting string line, adding or removing screed extensions
Ensures equipment is safely and securely parked and stored
Maintains equipment by greasing properly and checking fluids daily (oils, coolant, fuel level) and keeping clean and free of debris
Performs daily checks on equipment to ensure proper operating condition
Notifies shop foreman of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
Other duties as assigned

SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our 3rd shift team from Sunday to Thursday, 11pm to 7:30am. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various aspects of assembly, machine operation, and quality monitoring to ensure optimal production standards.

+ Perform various aspects of assembly.
+ Use computers to close out and reprint manufacturing orders.

SUMMARY:
The machine operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the saw equipment along with blade punch operation and preparation while meeting quality and productivity standards, as defined in the production schedule.
