+ Operates the label machines properly and efficiently in order to meet production deadlines according to the daily job schedule.
+ Minimize waste or misuse of raw materials.
+ Communicates label production issues with the Production Supervisor and/or Facility Manager
+ Performs distribution functions as needed.

Perform the operational functions of data manipulation on various types of label machine equipment within the department to meet production quality standards and deadlines. This role is on 1st Shift, 7am - 6pm Wednesday-Saturday.

Operates the label machines properly and efficiently in order to meet production deadlines according to the daily job schedule.
Minimize waste or misuse of raw materials.
Communicates label production issues with the Production Supervisor and/or Facility Manager
Performs distribution functions as needed.
Keeps accurate log of raw materials used in the production of labels. Logs date and ID number of cartons of product to maintain a FIFO inventory and to identify any QC problems with raw materials.
Uses ERP system to log time and materials for each job.
Responsible for maintenance of all dies.
Leads other Label Machine Operators without the presence of a Supervisor.
Responsible for training new Label Machine Operators.
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area, uses required PPE, and follows all safety rules and procedures.
May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.

Perform the operational functions of data manipulation on various types of label machine equipment within the department to meet production quality standards and deadlines. This role is on 1st Shift, 7am - 6pm Wednesday-Saturday. ► Key Areas of Responsibility
* Operates the label machines properly and efficiently in order to meet production deadlines according to the daily job schedule.
* Minimize waste or misuse of raw materials.
* Communicates label production issues with the Production Supervisor and/or Facility Manager
* Performs distribution functions as needed.
* Keeps accurate log of raw materials used in the production of labels. Logs date and ID number of cartons of product to maintain a FIFO inventory and to identify any QC problems with raw materials.
* Uses ERP system to log time and materials for each job.
* Responsible for maintenance of all dies.
* Leads other Label Machine Operators without the presence of a Supervisor.
* Responsible for training new Label Machine Operators.
* Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area, uses required PPE, and follows all safety rules and procedures.
* May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.
* Other duties as assigned by management.

Will vary by machine operated. Machinery in Finished Goods includes, but is not limited to, conveyors, labelers, printers, case jets, tamper evident banding machinery, tray formers, inserters, fillers, palletizers, shrink wrappers, case packers. Some machinery may have multiple functions. Tools may include basic hand tools, scan gun and measuring devices.
Physical Demands
Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerate degree and requires full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.
Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
