Summary:
The Molding MachineOperator tends injection molding machines to ensure they stay on cycle, visually inspects parts for common molding defects, and is able to do minor troubleshooting, like clearing a stuck part and understanding machine errors. This position is fully independent in running multiple machines and executing complicated jobs involving hand loads, independently executing all manual measurement methods.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Operate all molding machines in the department. Be comfortable running multiple machines and/or running jobs that require hand loads.
Independently identify common molding defects like cold slugs, contamination, burnt material, sinks, cracks, porosity and frosting.
Independently execute all measurements using optical comparators, Vernier calipers, gauges pins, micrometers, scales and moisture analyzers. Independently fill out all IPQC's.
De-gate and de-flash parts using a variety of hand tools. Independently identify de-gating and de-flashing requirements from work order documentation.
Independently operate auxiliary equipment such as band saws and cooling fixtures
Ensure material is being fed from driers properly, learn how to clean out driers for material switchovers.
Be aware of need for material segregation and cleanout in-between production runs of using different materials. Ensure machine is free of foreign material before running a job by vacuuming up contaminants and foreign materials on and around the machine.
Be aware of need for screw and barrel cleanliness when switching materials. Report abnormal material coloring, or high levels of contamination to supervisor or mold set-up tech.
Understand how to read basic mold processing parameters like mold, nozzle and barrel temperatures. Work with more experienced team members to identify if actual values are not meeting set points
Be aware of material traceability requirements and work in a way that ensures traceability is maintained by recording material lot numbers where appropriate, and verifying raw material hopper documentation matches pick lists provided.

Follow verbal and written instructions regarding assembly and subassembly processes required within a specific Production team
Perform visual, in-process and final inspections and tests verifying quality conformance
Maintain operating records and reports of test results
Maintain housekeeping tasks to assure safety and purity of devices
Other projects as assigned
Update and maintain proper inventory control procedures
Work closely with Team Leaders / Manufacturing Engineers to ensure lean process flow
Update/maintain Bills of Materials and other tier documentation associated with medical device assembly
Follow standard operating procedures, GMPs, and ISO requirements
Follow and understand assembly drawings/specifications as required
Requirements:
A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent, coupled with excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail. At least three years of experience in a GMP regulated medical device production environment and a thorough knowledge of assembly techniques, materials, tools, and equipment (which may be earned through technical training) is preferred.

is a UK-based food manufacturing company known for producing high quality syrups for cafes & restaurants. As part of our expansion into the U.S. market, we are launching our first American Production Facility in Providence, RI.
The company is seeking a hands-on Production Associate to support day-to-day syrup manufacturing operations during the U.S. launch phase in Providence. This role is focused on execution on the floor and supporting production runs under established SOPs. The associate will work closely with the Supply Chain Associate & Plant Manager during ramp-up.
Key Responsibilities
Support bottling, capping, labeling, and case packing
Prepare ingredients and materials for production runs
Perform basic quality checks (fill levels, labels, counts)
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
Assist with basic inventory counts and material organization
Follow all food safety and GMP requirements
Qualifications
Experience in food production, manufacturing, or warehouse environments preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to ~50 lbs
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Comfortable working in a small-team, startup environment
Food safety or GMP experience is a plus
Ability to do basic math calculations

clear jams in the machines. Operates power-assisted machinery to assemble components (caps, lining
and spouts). Visually inspects parts/assemblies for defects. The machine segregates defective
parts/assemblies for rework/scrap; all scrap is placed in boxes and marked accordingly. Completed
boxes must be dated, initialed, and returned to Quality Control for testing. Operators are also
responsible for changing lining rolls when empty or the job order changes.
Responsibilities Include:
Attending up to five presses based on production schedules and manufacturing requirements. Checking
all molded products hourly for defects. Grinding runners and checking cappers for runners. Cleaning
tracks, bowls, conveyors and upright conveyors as necessary. Hygrade product for defects and perform
quality checks. Completing labels, placing on box, and ensure rejected and accepted product is
separated. Operate and monitor grinders and presses ensuring the product is manufactured in
accordance with specifications, schedules and deadlines. Report issues/defects to Team
Leader/Processor/Supervisor for timely correction and problem solving. Maintains a neat and orderly
work area, keeping walkways and aisles clear ensuring a safe work environment. . Performs general
housekeeping duties such as sweeping and trash removal.

Physical Working Conditions (Physical Capacities): Capable of normal standing, bending and twisting consistent with assembly type operations. Capable of moderate to heavy lifting. Exposure to mild noise (machinery) and some mild nuisance dust. Climate conditions are consistent with those of a normal manufacturing environment.
