The primary purpose of this position is to address the operational needs such as handling, manufacturing and loading of industrial chemicals to meet customer demand. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
Move bulk trailers to and from the truck bay following safety rules for driving the tractor trailers.
Unload raw materials following the Tank Truck Bulk Unloading SOP.
Manufacture finished products in the production equipment according to a specific production worksheet.
Load bulk trailers following the Tank Truck Bulk Loading SOP.
Create schedules for all incoming and outgoing materials, as well as manufactured products.
Maintain and update inventory of chemicals on PRISM system.
Responsible for following “Good Manufacturing Practices” in manufacturing processes and housekeeping in all interior and exterior areas of the facility.

Must be able to stand or walk up to 12 hours per day.
Must be able to lift up to 50 multiple times per shift, lift 100 lbs. on occasion.
Must be able to climb steps and ladders up to 40 feet high several times

Language Skills:

The Production Operator ensures the highest quality product at the lowest possible costs while meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements per GEON Performance Solutions' policies and procedures.
Essential Functions
* Sets up and starts all machines, checking all controls for adherence to procedures. * Weighs ingredients to meet recipe specifications and inserts into machinery. * Monitors production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Troubleshoots equipment and processing issues. * Operates machinery to mix, discharge or handle materials according to operating procedures. * Examines materials visually or physically to ensure conformance with established standards. * May take samples of materials to lab for evaluations and instructions. * Refers issues/problems to lead/supervisor for disposition. * Performs all required machine cleaning * Completes and maintains all required computer inputs. Responsible for data integrity. * Documents work completed as required including logs, data reports, procedures, etc. * Participates in training, retraining and continual improvement processes and methods. * Maintains departmental housekeeping standards. * Follows all rules, laws and procedures related to HS&E, ISO, and other regulations. * Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience

Your responsibilities Machine Operator is the 1st level Operator who has the responsibility of ensuring product quality by successfully managing the entire machine operating process. As a Machine Operator, you will start up machines, change the tooling of the machines to run different product, complete basic troubleshooting when issues arise, be alert to product quality and follow all control plans accordingly, and train others. Additionally, you will actively participate in a team environment to maximize production efficiencies in producing a zero defect high quality product.
