ExoAnalytic Solutions is seeking an AI Machine Learing Engineer - Space & Missile Defense to join a multidisciplinary team developing advanced machine learning-driven capabilities for sensing, tracking, decision-making, and battle management. This role focuses on the design, development, integration, and evaluation of AI/ML algorithms within modeling, simulation, and operational decision-support environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable working at the intersection of AI/ML, algorithms, and complex physical systems, and enjoys translating operational challenges into deployable AI-enabled solutions.
This position is well suited for engineers who want to apply modern AI/ML techniques-such as deep learning, reinforcement learning, probabilistic reasoning, and multi-agent systems-to real-world aerospace and defense problems, while collaborating closely with systems engineers, analysts, and domain experts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and evaluate AI/ML algorithms for space and missile defense applications, including sensing, tracking, classification, prediction, and decision-making
Implement machine learning solutions within modeling and simulation environments, analytical tools, and prototype operational systems
Develop and train models using supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques
Integrate AI/ML components with physics-based models, simulations, and system-level architectures
Analyze AI/ML performance, limitations, uncertainty, and robustness in operationally relevant scenarios
Collaborate with systems engineers, analysts, and domain experts to translate mission needs into AI/ML-driven solutions
Support experimentation, test campaigns, and algorithm trade studies using simulated and real-world data
Document algorithms, assumptions, data requirements, and performance results for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Contribute to technical planning, architecture decisions, and proposal development as needed
Manage individual tasks and deliverables while contributing to team-level technical decision-making
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Strong foundation in machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts, including model development, training, validation, and evaluation
Proficiency in Python for AI/ML development; experience with C++ or similar languages is a plus
Experience with modern ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or similar)
Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, or integrating AI/ML algorithms into software systems or simulations
Understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, and performance metrics
Experience using version control systems (e.g., Git) in a collaborative development environment
Ability to reason about algorithm tradeoffs, assumptions, uncertainty, and failure modes
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Working proficiency in verbal and written English

SALARY RANGE
$115,000 - $190,000+ annually.

Scope of Work:

Minimum Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Be responsible for ATE Device Power Supply design-in successes for assigned released products and products under development. Manage relationships with customers during their design-in phase with a power supply solution mind set. Analysis of product evaluation and reliability test data.

Contribute to ATE product datasheets

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification with at least 5-10 years' experience. Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities
* Perform high complexity engineering designs including analysis, calculations, research, and equipment selection for EPC projects (from conceptual design through detailed design)
* Develop mechanical piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs) for power plant systems including steam cycles, boiler feed, condensate, water treatment, flue gas, hydrogen, fuel handling, heat transfer systems, and utility systems
* Prepare sizing calculations and specifications for major equipment including, but not limited to, boilers, condensers, cooling towers, tanks, blowers and pumps
* Prepare mechanical engineering designs, drawings, As-Builts, systems specifications, equipment lists, general arrangements, aux power demands, and process flow diagrams (PFDs) and procurement packages for equipment/components, technical bid evaluation from vendors, and vendor selection.
* Evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques, procedures, industry codes and standards to projects

Qualifications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Scope of Work:
The primary purpose of this position is to execute design and construction projects at the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) and auxiliary sites with focus on the project management activities related to Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, project development, plumbing/pipe fitter, and project prioritization for Mechanical Engineering-related activities at the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) and auxiliary sites.
Responsibilities:
Research, plan, prepare and administer design, acquisition, and construction projects.
Develop projects, assess the condition of the HVAC systems, develop, and implement strategies and initiative to improve the systems; provide design reviews and project management of construction projects; maintain databases (NexGen) used to manage the projects.
Apply knowledge of design principles, construction procedures, maintenance principles, HVAC systems and building codes.
Consult with clients and shop personnel to identify problems and ways to improve the condition of the HVAC activities. Perform technical evaluations and design reviews of project proposals and submittals.
Serve as technical advisor to the client, government representatives, contracting, operations, and finance.
Prepare reports and presentations to explain the pros and cons of project alternatives and improvement initiatives. Complete in-house designs and statements of work for small-scale in-house projects.
Provide assistance to the Operations shops in the management of Mechanical/HVAC, plumbing/pipefitter, Interior Utility, and Mechanical Distribution system Sub-Activity Management Plans (Sub-AMP) and participate in the working groups of other related activities.
Analyze corrective, predictive, and preventive maintenance data to manage the activities.
Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design drawings and specifications.
Provide and prepare monthly and quarterly reports on the status of assigned activities.
Review mechanical drawings for projects that are administered by other project managers.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
