Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the ideal candidate's roles and responsibilities will include the following tasks as well as other pertinent tasks as assigned by Organization leadership.
Support for Senior Engineer staff for project specific requirements for Low Voltage Assemblies (LVA).
Generate Solid work models and drawings as required for each project /site requirements
Perform initial setup of projects on ERP system IFS.
Load production systems with material requirements from approved drawings
Compile Technical Drawing Submittals for review by Engineers prior to issuing to the customer.
Organize project material for agreed to site schedule and keep rolling progress report
Establish and reinforce document control for each project.
Set up and conduct tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to evaluate design, focusing on improving performance, overall design, quality, and safety.
Required Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities
Possess computer proficiency including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and databases such as Access
Display a proactive flexible approach to working within a team environment
Proficient in 3D drawing packages (Solid Works experience preferable)
Ability to self-manage, be self-motivated and deliver to project milestones
Innovative problem-solving skills
Professional verbal and written communication
Education:
Bachelor's (Preferred)
Two-year degree in engineering related field (Minimum)
