Boeing is hiring for an Electrophysics Engr-Scien (IR/Electro-Optical-Visual) Experience or Senior Level to work on our team located in Berkeley, MO.
The IRMA Electro-physics Engineer/Scientist position provides key expertise to the software development team: developing algorithms, supporting the implementation by the software development team, and performing analysis of laboratory and flight test data. The position requires knowledge and experience with platform signature and survivability modeling, Electro-Optical and Infra-Red (EO/IR) sensors and sensor processing, including impacts of environmental conditions. The IRMA engineer will support integration of IRMA mission systems into platform(s), including the development of enhancements/requirements for new platform types.
Position Responsibilities:
Assists in developing and documenting requirements for various communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components.
Performs basic analysis to predict component performance to established requirements.
Conducts simple tests to validate performance of designs to requirements. Collects data on supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements.
Provides support to products throughout their lifecycle.
Supports project management by gathering project status data.
Gathers information to support development of sections of proposals to support development of new business.
Works under close supervision.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
