Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation. Operate manual machining equipment (lathes, mills, grinders) and potentially CNC equipment for die modification or component fabrication. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize die performance. Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company and OSHA standards. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or apprenticeship in Tool & Die preferred. 3+ years of experience in tool and die maintenance, preferably in a stamping environment. Strong understanding of progressive and/or transfer die construction and function. Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges). Skilled in surface grinding, polishing, and manual machining operations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and die specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with CAD/CAM or CNC programming is a plus. Familiarity with die sensors and in-die protection systems. Basic welding or brazing skills. 2nd Shift - Mon-Fri 3:00pm - 11:30pm (Ability to train on 1st shift for 2 weeks.)
