Responsibilities
Set up and run low-volume, high-precision, close-tolerance jobs
Work primarily in the medical/biomedical sector, with occasional aerospace projects
Assemble custom-built machines and perform electrical wiring as needed
Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Operate manual milling machines and lathes to fabricate precision tools and components
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure manufacturing accuracy
Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.) to verify dimensions and tolerances
Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
