Expected hours of work: Typical work schedules for this site are 6am-230pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime: This position is for regular, full-time work and may require coming in early, working late, or working on weekends to meet the needs of the business.
Travel: This position may require occasional travel to customer sites or local travel to other Paslin locations.
Work Environment: This position operates in a manufacturing site environment. This is a safety sensitive role, which includes working around moving equipment and machinery.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist. This role requires the use of hand operated tools and machine controls. Occasionally required to lift/push/pull up to 40lbs.
Candidate Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
7+ years of Machinist experience, Acer or Bridgeport milling equipment is a plus
Knowledge of shop mathematics, metal properties, and machining procedures
Able to read blueprints and set up equipment accordingly
