Our CNC Swiss Machinist role is a great opportunity for a quality minded, detail-oriented machinist who can set up and operate CNC Swiss-type multi-axis lathes. Programming knowledge a plus. Experience with G-codes, small components and tight tolerances is required. Ability to read prints and use measurement tools. SV Microwave appreciates and rewards a good craftsperson who enjoys challenges and is dedicated to producing the highest quality products. The work schedule for this role is Thursday - Monday, @4pm-12am.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What We're Looking For
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification or machining apprenticeship preferred.
Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Manual Machinist in a custom fabrication, job shop, or R&D setting.
Skills:
Advanced manual machining techniques and knowledge of GD&T
Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-urgency environment
Proactive problem-solver with strong attention to detail
Self-starter who takes ownership and thrives in a team setting
Work Environment
This position is based in a dynamic machine shop with exposure to noise, varying temperatures, and industrial materials. Standing for long periods and occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs.) is required. Overtime may be necessary to meet project timelines.

Role Snapshot
Deliver precise TIG and/or MIG welds with speed and accuracy
Prep, stage, and fabricate materials across multiple stations
Perform quality checks and minor repairs on assemblies
Set up, fine-tune, and operate welding machines safely
Handle routine maintenance to keep tools in top shape
Support projects at nearby field locations as required
What You'll Need to Succeed
Basic reading and communication skills
Comfort with simple math for measurement and layout
