PURPOSE: Design, build, rework, maintain, repair and troubleshoot all forms of tooling (including dies, tools, gauges, fixtures, and molds).
JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):
Determine the best method to manage and complete a project by a designated due date.
Interact with QA, production, R&D, manufacturing, and maintenance to provide solutions.
Maintain accurate documentation of tool modifications, repair, preventative maintenance and individual work performed throughout the shift.
List, monitor, maintain, and occasionally purchase components for new tool builds or repairs.
Capable of creating a repeatable setup and working to tolerances of +/-.0002" routinely.
Coordinate work assigned through various auxiliary work centers and equipment as required.
Occasionally assist operators and maintenance with machine or processing issues.
Validate the quality of work following standard machining practices and using available measurement equipment and inspection resources.
Effectively communicate with other personnel and educate apprentices in best practices.
Adhere to all written specifications and ensure compliance with all standards.

Job Requirements
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Completed an approved Mold Maker or Tool and Die Maker state apprenticeship program or demonstrated the ability to perform the aforementioned tasks.
Must pass the skilled trades assessment test for this position.
Proficiently operate all common machining equipment, mills, lathes, grinders, etc.
Work as a team lead as well as a team member depending on the departmental workload.
Awareness of OSHA and EPA laws and regulations as well as the Company's Plant Rules and Regulations that pertain to this job.
Time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proven analytical and troubleshooting abilities as well as a high degree of mechanical aptitude.
Work from design prints, sketches, sample parts and oral instructions.

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator - Second Shift to join our team in Miamisburg, Ohio. The Machinist will be responsible for setting up the equipment to Cut, Bend, and Laser various materials according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Semi-Automatic, Fully-Automatic and Manual Cycle machines in a manufacturing environment.

Job Description
The CNC machinist for our machining department is to support our growing activity in equipment manufacturing. The position requires the ability to operate CNC mills and lathes to machine precision parts.
Responsibilities
• Operate CNC Mills and Lathes.
• Ability to set up work, select tooling, program and edit programs, and adjust speeds and feeds.
• Machine parts & Inspect parts, verifying measurements and tolerances are to print specifications.
• Routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating work with other team members.
• Ability to work on multiple projects as well as be a member of a cross functional team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with team members.
Requirements:
• Must know how to operate CNC Mills and Lathes, HAAS and Mazatrol Controls a plus.
• Experience with G-Codes.
• Blue print reading is a requisite.
• Ability to setup work, program machines, load and edit CAM programs, machine parts per prints.
• Working knowledge of machinist's charts and tables, with an understanding of the working properties of metals.
• Must be able to read and use measuring devices e.g. scale, calipers and micrometers.
• Capacity to operate a Fork Lift and Crane, training will be provided.
• Adaptability to changing project requirements and schedules.
• Willingness to learn and desire to contribute as part of a dynamic and productive team.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Basic Computer skills.

Manual Machinist
with excellent communication skills to work in our Huber Heights, Ohio facility. This position is on 2nd shift.
Shift hours are as follows;
2nd shift Monday-Friday 2:40pm to 11:10pm
Qualifications
Candidates should have demonstrated experience in the following areas;
Set up and fabricate complex precision parts to specifications using manual machine tools such as Bridgeport, Lathe, Surface grinders, drill press, boring bars, etc
Ability to set-up and run their own job.
Monitor the machining process, measure parts during fabrication operations and adjust settings and operations to ensure product conformance to all applicable specifications.
Proficient with the use of measurement instruments: micrometers, dial indicators, calipers etc.
Experience and ability to understand and interpret specifications, diagrams and plans
Highly motivated, detail oriented, self-sufficient with a “make it happen” attitude & approach.
Understanding of G-Code programming a plus.
Experience in part inspection, First Piece inspection.
Experience with Anilam, Prototrak or similar controls
Ability to perform programming using Conversational Prototrak Controls
Job shop environment a plus.
