The Tool and Die Maker supports the Viega Machine Shop's mission of producing precision tooling that supports our manufacturing operations. This position will set-up and operate a variety of computer-controlled and mechanically-controlled machine tools to produce precision metal parts, instruments and tools of the highest quality standards. This position will regularly interact and problem solve with cross-functional team members across Viega. What You'll Do: Translate the information from blueprints, sketches, specifications and CAD/CAM files to the production of precision tools & dies. Perform basic layout and machining operations on components and products.
