We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tool and Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. The Tool and Die Maker is responsible for designing, fabricating, assembling, and repairing precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in the manufacturing process
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs to plan tool and die fabrication.
Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment to produce components.
Build and assemble dies, jigs, molds, and fixtures for production use.
Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other instruments.
Inspect completed tools and dies for accuracy, function, and conformance to specifications.
Assist maintenance with building and repair of tools
Repair, sharpen, and maintain existing tools and dies to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tooling solutions.
Document work performed and maintain records of tooling changes and repairs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machining equipment. Mazak experience necessary
Strong understanding of tooling materials, heat treatment, and machining tolerances.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Must be qualified. Not to be trained.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
3-5 years' experience as a tool and die maker
Ability to communicate with others both written and verbally
