Qualifications Responsibilities: Operate variety of CNC and manual machines to manufacture specialty parts. Perform quality checks on components and verify that they meet specification. Effective communication with co-workers. Checks completed programs by running simulations or tests. Simplifies tooling time for workers and increases productivity for the company. Analyzes and selects speeds and feeds of cutting tools for machining programs and wire EDM paths. Qualifications: 3 - 5 years' experience as machinist. High school diploma is required Associate's degree in CNC programming, computer-related field, a mechanical field OR a certification from an accredited technical school is preferred. Knowledge of electronics and machine tools. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Ability to perform part inspection with measurement instruments.
