    dormakaba is seeking a Third Shift (9:30PM - 6:00AM) Machinist I, II based in Indianapolis, IN. This role is responsible for performing machine setups, tool changes, and adjusting as necessary. HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $18.56/hr. - $27/hr. plus $.75/hr. shift differential. Mandatory overtime may be required as needed. (Pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). Please visit our career site for more information on benefits. $2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview) WHAT YOU WILL DO Operate the machine according to standard operating procedures (SOP) Document and inspect quality of work per Quality Assurance Inspection Procedure (QAIP). Use micrometers, height gauges, calipers, and comparators Follow work orders and routings Follow all environmental health and safety (EHS) policies and procedures including use of personal protective equipment (PPE) WHAT WE REQUIRE High school diploma or equivalent Extensive experience operating machinery, performing machine setups and tool changes, etc. Understanding of shop math & blueprint reading/comprehension, geometric dimensional and tolerancing (GD&T) Ability to perform advanced quality inspections Professional communication skills PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
