We are looking for experienced CNC Machinists for second and third shifts. Custom machining including setup and run, while applying your knowledge of machining principles, shop math, blueprint reading, GD&T.
Job Duties
* Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, routing instructions, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
* Properly select, align and secure work holding. Must be able to improvise setups using common tooling such as risers, angle plates etc.
* Monitor and/or develop speed, feed, depth or angle of cut during machining operations.
* Must observe machine operation to predict or detect malfunctions or out of tolerance machining conditions and adjust machine controls /control media as required.
* Verify that all machined details meet print and router specifications, using precision measuring instruments and recording data results. Responsible to ensure first piece inspection is completed for multiple piece runs.
* Monitor and maintain proper cleanliness of machine and work area on a daily basis.
Requirements
* A minimum of two years of trade school, vocational education or apprenticeship
* A minimum of three to five years of CNC machining experience
* General machining knowledge, shop math, precision measuring instruments, blueprint reading and GD&T
* Part and tool probing
* Experience with high speed machining preferred (16 - 27k RPM)
* Some openings may require specialized experience with particular machining processes or equipment
* Experience with Siemens 840D Control software a plus

Summary:
Employee is responsible for all repair activities as assigned by Tooling Manager or Tool Room Shift Leader.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Inventory of punches and other expendables.
Layout dies, fixtures and parts.
Designing and building of fixtures and small dies.
Must be able to read part prints.
Teaching and/or instructing toolmakers with lower classifications the following: techniques, methods of operating equipment.
Train and manage apprentices.
Tryout dies and assist in securing PPAP approval.
Tig weld trim steels and heat treat tool steels if necessary.
Estimate and quote hours and costs.
Run all tool-room equipment including mill, lathe, grinder, surface grinder, saw drill press and Mig/Tig welders as necessary.
Trouble shoot sheet metal dies in the presses as well as in the tool room.
Use layout tools and equipment, ie: height gages, Jo-Blocks, indicators, micrometers and calipers.
Clean up assigned work areas including your work bench.
Complete all documents such as job cards, p.m. log book, requisitions, etc.
Operate cranes for trucks and lift trucks to move dies.
Inform Inspection at end of each shift or at the end of the job about any excess parts (scrap/questionable) or raw material at the press or machine so it can be disposed of in the proper manner.
Observes and complies with all company, federal and state safety and environmental policies and practices.
Develops strong working knowledge of all relevant quality policies, procedures, and work instructions associated with the successful performance on this job.
Maintains a clean, orderly and safe personal work area and shared facility space.

Are you a skilled CNC Machinist who thrives on challenging setups and tight tolerances? This role goes beyond button-pushing - we need someone confident in setting up, dialing in, and producing complex, one-off, and low-volume parts with high precision.
Responsibilities
Must be a subject matter expert in the following functions/activities (perform correctly and without assistance):
Able to Run Manual and CNC Machines at an expert Level.
Perform full setups on CNC mills and/or lathes from print or model - including indicating vises, fixtures, and part zeros.
Interpret complex blueprints, GD&T, and 3D models to execute machining strategies.
Adjust feeds, speeds, tooling, and offsets to optimize quality and efficiency.
Troubleshoot issues related to tooling, setup, and part accuracy independently.
Ensure in-process inspection and first article inspection compliance.
Collaborate with engineers and programmers to refine setups and improve processes.
What You Bring:
5+ years of CNC machining experience, with a strong emphasis on complex setups and first-run parts.
Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, GD&T, and setup sheets.
Strong understanding of machine offsets, tool presetting, and basic G/M code.
Experience with multi-axis machining or live tooling.
Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Familiar with the use of precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers.
Solid understanding of lean manufacturing
At least 5 years of relevant experience in machining manufacturing.
