Your impact Translate drawings, sketches, work scopes, and procedures into efficient manual machining plans with minimal supervision. Execute advanced setups and operations: turning, boring, facing, milling, drilling, reaming, tapping, sawing, slotting, grooving, and grinding to extremely close tolerances. Measure, verify, and document dimensions using micrometers, indicators, calipers, gauges, and more; pass annual dimensional inspection tests. Core responsibilities Champion safety and quality; keep your area clean and orderly. Maintain equipment through basic preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs when needed. Conduct yourself professionally with colleagues and customers. Complete production and quality logs and ensure smooth cross-shift continuity by recording actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Mentor and train teammates in equipment operation, print reading, tooling selection, machining techniques, and repair processes.
