    CNC Machinist - 1 st shift M-F In this role,candidates will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery to produce precision parts according to SOP's and blueprints. This role involves ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety and efficiency standards, working on both CNC Mills and Lathes. Responsibilities: Set up CNC mills and lathes, including loading and unloading materials, installing tools, and configuring machine parameters. Verify dimensions and tolerances of machined parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Make necessary adjustments to machines and processes to correct defects and maintain high-quality output. Maintain accurate records of production runs, including materials used, machine settings, and any issues encountered. Report any significant deviations or defects to the supervisor and suggest improvements. Contribute to process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Continuous improvement highly encouraged Qualifications: HS diploma or equivalent (technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining is preferred) Experience as a CNC Operator/machinist preferably with a focus on mills and lathes.
