Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fabrication Elite Specialist to join our Fabrication team. This critical role is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, sharpening, and organization of punching tools to ensure peak machine performance and sustained production quality. The position also supports general fabrication duties and contributes to minimizing downtime and enhancing tooling efficiency across operations.
Scope and Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspection, cleaning, and preventative maintenance of all Amada punching tools and tooling systems.
Sharpen and recondition tools to meet or exceed manufacturer specifications.
Maintain proper labeling, storage, and organization of all tooling to ensure efficient accessibility.
Monitor tool wear and proactively replace worn components to prevent unplanned downtime.
Collaborate with machine operators and production teams to diagnose and resolve tooling-related issues.
Maintain accurate records, including tooling maintenance logs, inspection reports, and inventory counts.
Communicate with tooling vendors or manufacturers regarding repairs and replacement needs.
Adhere to and enforce all safety standards, protocols, and company procedures.

CMMC Machine, LLC is seeking full time experienced Industrial Machinists to join our team. Machinists set up and operate manual machines to confidently produce high-quality components with accuracy and efficiency. Machinists should be familiar with manually controlled machines and benchwork in the fabrication, maintenance, repair and alteration of machinery, machine parts, tools, and equipment.

Major Responsibilities & Essential Functions
* Set up, adjust, and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints and follow instructions
* Machine parts out of metal
* Properly and safely select, align, secure, and remove holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines
* Recognize, deploy, and properly use inserts, fixtures, and tooling
* Must be able to determine the proper tools required to perform given task
* Operate and utilizes lifting aids as necessary to perform work
* Use gauges and precision measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
* Perform daily, regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
* Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner while maintaining safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
* Work overtime as needed on evenings and/or weekends
* Communicates with others to coordinate work in plant
* Other duties as assigned
Preferred Machining Skills
* Familiarity with the use of: Heavy Duty Horizontal Lathes, Milling Machines, Horizontal Boring Mills, Vertical Turning Lathes, Planers, Grinders, Drill Presses, Hydraulic Presses, Band Saws, and Portable Tools
* Turning, Drilling, Tapping, Boring, Honing, Polishing machine processes
* Large part machining experience preferred (ship propeller shafting, ship steering gear, etc.)
* In-place machining experience is desired
* Forklift and Crane experience preferred
Shifts: Positions on both Day and Night Shifts are Available

projects in the industrial sector. We are currently hiring skilled Manual Machinist for multiple positions in the

Essential Functions of this position may include but are not limited to:
Primary function as a Manual Machinist will be to produce (and repair) a variety of finished and semi-finished
components and assemblies. Assemble and disassemble machined parts and components using established
manufacturing processes.
Read and interpret detailed part and tool drawings. Set up machines to perform the required
operations for any part assigned, including special adapters and attachments such as arbor supports,
right angle heads, indexing heads, etc. Obtain all tools, fixtures, and related equipment.
Follow established operational procedures to perform all machining functions such as turn, mill, bore,
groove, chamfer, profile, taper, tap, etc. Hand or machine blending and finishing as required. Maintain
drawing requirements including length, diameters, perpendicularity, parallelism, concentricity, etc.
Support development and routine machining operations associated with Mill/Turn, HBM, VTL,
Horizontal Lathe equipment.
Assist in the startup of Mill/Turn, HBM, VTL, Horizontal Lathe, multi-axis equipment.
Use manual lathes, bridgeports, drilling presses, etc.
Use all types of measuring and gauging devices. Check work and record dimensions or characteristics
as required.

Qualification, education, and experience requirements:
High School graduate
Experience as a manual lathe machinist
Completion of a four-year machinist apprenticeship or equivalent is an asset
4+ years in machines experience Ability to operate material handling equipment, read and interpret blueprint, layout and process worksheets, set-up and operate assigned machines and equipment, maintain acceptable quality and efficiency level, and effectively communicate with others. Must demonstrate basic knowledge, skills, and abilities to assembly work and machining. Must be a sole US citizen and able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance Successful candidate must possess the willingness and ability to complete and pass all pre-employment and employment screening requirements which may include but are not limited to: Practical skills, COVID-19, other medical, psychological (if required by site), background and substance abuse screening(s).
