Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment, to like new appearance, according to maintenance plans and established procedures. May perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Experience Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to operate a variety of precision measuring instruments, including calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators, and scales. Minimum of two years of experience working on the set-up of 5-axis machines, such as Hass or Fanuc preferred. Working knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used to operate various machines. Ability to read and interpret company documents, such as blueprints, safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies, and procedures. Good manual dexterity required to work with small parts. Capable of recognizing and solving typical problems that can occur in own work area; evaluates and selects solutions from established options. Effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time management, problem-prevention, and problem-solving skills. Able to work with cross-functional teams. Able to identify areas of low efficiency and work to provide improvements. Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time Must be able to work as scheduled and arrive to the worksite promptly to receive work assignment. Must be available to work overtime and weekends as business requires.
