We are currently looking for a Machinist Technician to join our team in Cheyenne, Wyoming. PURPOSE OF POSITION The Machinist Technician is responsible for operating machines and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate is to ensure the proper cleaning and preparation of castings as stated in the OMS/process sheet. Task and Responsibilities: Maintain and follow production schedule Inspect products upon completion Safely operate jib and overhead crane Adhere to Nortrak's Safety, Quality and Environmental Procedures, Practices and Policies Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or climbing. Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. Regularly lift and move up to 10-15 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Hearing abilities related to job assigned.
