    The Machine Operator performs a variety of activities in the production of pressure-sensitive paper. Primary responsibilities encompass machine operation, routine maintenance, and quality control to ensure seamless production processes. Key Responsibilities Ensure that the slitter machine produces quality products. Ensure proper materials and machine settings are used. Ensure that all instructions are carried out according to the customer's needs. Ensure all paperwork and data entry are completed accurately. Follow environmental, safety, and housekeeping standards and regulations. Monitor deviations in materials and running conditions; make corrections with crew assistance and report deviations to supervision. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Regular attendance is required. Communicate support needs of the machine center as required. Perform other duties as required, including assisting in preparation and packaging. Identify each individual roll coming off the slitter with the proper pre-designated number representing the web location (roll labeling). Work towards optimizing productivity and waste reduction. Perform all 5S activities assigned in the time frame provided per procedures. Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Converting Manager, or Lead Operator.
