The Heavy EquipmentOperator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of heavy construction equipment-including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and backhoes-to support site development, earthmoving, trenching, grading, and material handling. Key Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment in a safe and productive manner for site preparation, excavation, grading, and material movement.
Inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on equipment before and after operation.
Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and blueprints to execute work according to specifications.
Load and unload materials or equipment as needed.
Communicate effectively with site supervisors, spotters, and crew members to ensure coordinated operations.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions, hazards, or unsafe conditions to management immediately.
Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety regulations and participate in regular safety meetings.
