1966: Madera leaders form coalition

1971

Completed in 1971, Madera Community Hospital (MCH) has continued to grow from a 88-bed to a 106-bed adult acute care facility, offering a wide range of sophisticated diagnostic and treatment services.

1971: New Hospital opens 88-bed acute care facility

1976

1976: MCH became a non-profit hospital governed by local Board of Trustees

1993

1993: Outpatient Center opens in front of the Hospital offering Radiology, Lab drawing, and Physical Therapy services

2000

2000: Grand opening of the new 16-room Emergency Room and 10-bed Intensive Care Unit

2006

2006: Refurbishment and upgrades to the existing facility began
