Karla Bullard is MDP's Chief Financial Officer and a Managing Director. Prior to joining MDP, Karla served as a Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Deerfield Capital Management. She also served as the Vice President of Finance with JP Morgan Chase. Karla began her career with Arthur Andersen LLP, focusing on the financial services sector. She is currently an IPEV Board Member.

Prior to joining MDP, Annie served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of an MDP portfolio company, and previous to that, she was an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Annie has broad experience in complex corporate transactions, including public and private mergers and acquisitions; registered public offerings of common stock, securities and corporate governance counseling (including SEC reporting); registered investment advising; and private equity fund matters. Annie is responsible for handling legal and compliance issues relating to MDP’s funds and limited partners, potential investments, portfolio companies and corporate counsel matters. Annie also serves on the Board of Legal Aid Chicago and is a member of the Dean’s Business Council for the University of Illinois Gies College of Business.
