Identify and support process improvements, particularly related to material flow and stockout prevention.
Collaborate with Engineering, Receiving, Manufacturing, and Accounting to maintain accurate and timely material flow.
Monitor and evaluate vendor/supplier performance, and work to improve quality, pricing, and lead times.
Inventory Responsibilities
Resolve order discrepancies, including delivery dates and quantity mismatches.
Set up, maintain, and improve the inventory management system for parts and supplies.
Maintain accurate inventory master data in ERP System (Acumatica) and coordinate material availability with production schedules.
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with year-end physical inventory.
Support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and ensure timely updates to BOMs and purchasing records.
Ensure effective Management of Change (MOC) by incorporating design changes into assembly Bills of Material (BOMs).
Coordinate Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and Return Goods Authorizations (RGAs) with vendors.
Assists with shipping responsibilities.
