Navneet Kapoor's LinkedIn

With a career spanning over 20 years and multiple geographies, I have enjoyed diverse leadership roles across the omnichannel retail, financial, manufacturing and engineering research industries. Over the last decade, I have been deeply engaged with the transformation of large companies, through driving changes to culture, technology capabilities, operating model, and talent.

For the last year, I have been on a new journey with the shipping and logistics industry, where I am leading the Transformation agenda at A.P Moller Maersk as well its Global Service Centres. This transformation is perhaps one of the largest and most complex changes in this industry and key to sustained growth of the company.

In my previous role, I was very closely involved with Target’s digital and cultural transformation into a top tier omni-channel retailer, leading technology for its ecommerce channel. I was also responsible for leading Target India, an extension of Target's headquarters in India, and its world class team driving capabilities across digital technology, data sciences, merchandising, marketing, store design, and automation.

I am passionate about working with the startup ecosystem. Apart from serving on the selection committee for the 10K Startup warehouse, I have had the chance to launch the Target Accelerator Program in 2014. The selected startups have the opportunity to scale globally, through high potential work in areas of digital, omnichannel experience, data, and more. So far, over 25 external and numerous internal startups have been \'accelerated\' by this program.

I’m also actively engaged with NASSCOM and other advisory bodies to accelerate the maturation of Global In-house Centers (GICs). Specifically, I am passionate about nurturing and mentoring global leaders and developing perspectives around what it takes for individuals and companies to be successful working across geographies and cultures.
