In this hybrid role you will report to a Technical Lead Manager/Staff Software Engineer.
You will:
* Build state of the art labeling infrastructure to enable production of labeled datasets.
* Improve the "data flywheel" end to end efficiency through automation and monitoring.
* Work with the labeling operations teams to hillclimb on process efficiencies and build tooling to manage large workforces and distribute tasks effectively.
You have:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and 3+ years equivalent experience
* Experience developing data annotation/review tools. EG: Labeling for ML, Content Reviews for Trust and Safety, etc.
* Experience building API servers, web backends.
* Experience building, optimizing, debugging, and maintaining large scale data processing pipelines.
* Proficiency in Typescript and/or Frontend frameworks (Angular, ReactJS).
We prefer:
* Experience in developing diverse data annotation tooling and infrastructure.
* Knowledge of the application of labeled datasets within the full ML ecosystem.

POSITION SUMMARY
Flexjet is currently seeking a talented a Software Engineer II who is passionate about innovation and full stack technologies to join our development team. Flexjet empowers software engineers to learn, innovate, and apply their skills to deliver technical solutions. Our team has opportunities to work with varied departments for multiple brands across the private aviation industry.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Directly responsible for designing, developing and troubleshooting high performance and high availability applications utilized by several consumers throughout the business.
* Analyze technical requirements to design new components and applications.
* Manage new and existing products and applications throughout their lifecycle.
* Advise and support colleagues where your expertise will facilitate the achievement of common goals
* Introduce new solutions to the product and to your colleagues when appropriate for the business needs.
* Keep abreast of advancements in technologies and development techniques
* Interact with all departments and end users acting in development, technical design, and support roles.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
* 5+ years as a software developer and proven experience at a senior level
* Bachelor's Degree in related field or 2 additional years of equivalent work experience
* Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), Relational and NOSQL databases, microservices architecture, and computer science foundations.
* Experience working with Agile methodology
* Expertise in development of services/APIs, databases, cloud services, and the migration of legacy applications.
* Experience in front-end website development
REQUIRED SKILLS
* Working knowledge of .NET 5.0+ Framework, .NET Core, Visual Studio, C#
* Experience using Angular for a Front-end Scripting framework.
* Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software as necessary.
* Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
* Candidate should be self-motivated, independent, and exhibit relationship management skills.
* Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Well-developed interpersonal skills that promote and foster a team culture.
