We're currently seeking a passionate and skilled
Sr. Production Planner
to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring optimal material flow, production efficiency, and inventory management. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing master production schedules, coordinating material purchases, and maintaining alignment between capacity, demand, and operational execution.
The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, deep ERP knowledge, proven experience in planning/scheduling, and exceptional communication skills to work collaboratively across departments, especially with Production, Purchasing, and Quality.
Responsibilities
Capacity Planning & Reporting:
Create and maintain capacity plans; perform routine capacity analysis to identify constraints or excesses. Communicate capacity concerns and recommendations to leadership.
Purchasing & Supplier Management:
Manage the purchasing of raw materials, tooling, and components. Monitor vendor performance to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost effectiveness.
ERP & MRP Management:
Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage planning, scheduling, and procurement activities. Ensure data integrity within the system for accurate decision-making.
Excel-Based Analytics:
Develop and use advanced Excel reports and tools to analyze inventory levels, production output, material requirements, and schedule adherence.
Production Coordination:
Collaborate closely with production teams to align schedules, address issues, and proactively manage potential disruptions.
Inventory Optimization:
Maintain appropriate inventory levels in accordance with plant KPIs; implement strategies to reduce excess and obsolete materials.
Schedule Adherence Monitoring:
Track and report on production schedule adherence, highlighting deviations and initiating corrective actions where necessary.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with Quality, Customer Service, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve material issues, support NPI activities, and manage engineering changes.
Problem Solving & Contingency Planning:
Proactively identify scheduling or supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to minimize impact on production.
Documentation & Audit Support:
Maintain accurate documentation for audits and support compliance with ISO/IATF/AS standards.
Cycle Counting & Inventory Accuracy:
Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle count programs; reconcile variances and implement process improvements.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline planning and procurement processes, improve service levels, and reduce cost.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
Experience
: 5+ years of planning, scheduling, and purchasing experience in a high-volume, make-to-order manufacturing environment, preferably with stamping and molding.
Technical Skills
: Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, macros preferred).
Extensive experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, PLEX, Epicor, or equivalent)
. Solid understanding of capacity planning, materials management, and inventory control.
Analytical & Organizational Skills
: Strong data analysis, forecasting, and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
Interpersonal & Communication Skills:
Effective cross-functional communicator and team player. Experience working closely with production teams to drive alignment and accountability.
Certifications (Preferred)
: APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
Standards Compliance:
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100 standards.

Quality Supervisor

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all quality control and assurance activities in a high-volume metal stamping and injection molding facility. This role ensures products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements while driving continuous improvement in quality processes. The Quality Supervisor leads the quality inspection team, supports production in resolving quality issues, and works closely with engineering, tooling, and operations to maintain a zero-defect culture.
Responsibilities
Supervises, trains and schedules inspectors.
Suggest & Implement process improvements relative to increasing inspection efficiencies and reducing scrap.
Supervise the internal company audit program.
Supervise calibration program.
Resolve customer complaints as a leader and/or team member of the 8D Team.
Perform supplier audits and coordinate supplier corrective actions regarding quality issues.
Interface with sales, customer service, and manufacturing engineers to resolve specification changes.
In association with Manufacturing Engineering, develops FEMA process flow charts, and inspection control plans.
Analyze and process blueprints and specification changes.
Develop floor inspection blueprints, inspection methods and gaging.
Assist department manager in maintaining and updating the Quality System as documented in the Company Quality Manual.
Assists in developing new mosquito products by assisting in development of part specification and secondary processes in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineering.
Perform first piece, in process and final inspection of the more difficult production tooling on an as needed basis, program Vision/CMM and develop fixtures; will perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
High School education plus two year college, technical certificate or equivalent work experience.
3-5 years experience in Quality Control/Assurance in a tightly toleranced industry with an automotive and medical customer base.
Requires verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate technical information to people of various degrees of ability.
Must be organized and detail oriented.
Needs a thorough understanding of automotive and medical industry quality requirements (FMEA, Process Flows, Control Plans, and DOE).

Requirements
Three-year related manufacturing experience minimum - medical GMP / ISO environment preferred.
Prior supervisory experience with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and mechanical aptitude skills

Work with cost accountants to understand opportunities for improvement to the process which will lead to improved financial performance.
Design and deploy essential tools, fixtures, or equipment to boost production efficiency, reduce errors, improve inspections, and improve ergonomics.
Develop lean cell layouts and workflows to minimize waste and enhance productivity / ergonomics.
Maintain professional and technical expertise by attending tradeshows and continuing education workshops.
Participate in PPAP process, including drawing feasibility reviews, manufacturing reviews, Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEAs) reviews, etc.
Requirements
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
Must possess good analytical and problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
5-10 years minimum experience in a medium/high volume manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, 5S, and Lean manufacturing tools.
Comfortable with hands-on interaction with mechanical and electrical components.
3D CAD experience in SolidWorks strongly preferred.
GD&T experience preferred.
Experience with automation design and/or programming a plus.
Experience with vision system technology a plus.
ERP experience a plus.
Must be driven self-starter that works with little supervision.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

Team member must be able to work in a work center(s) environment as it relates to the fabrication of products. - Work center(s) is defined as: a single process cell or group of process cells containing production equipment including, but not limited to injection molding machine, payout/take-up reeling systems, automation, mold heaters/chillers, hot runner systems, computers, inspection equipment & vision systems.
Responsible for the cleanliness and condition of all equipment and space within their work center(s).
Must be totally knowledgeable of Work center set-up procedures and understand all aspects of part process (Process adjustments, automation, major & minor inspection criteria, troubleshooting, etc). The team member must understand and use daily, the Production Monitoring System (Mattec or Equiv and Press Package Documents) and support the collection of accurate and timely data.
Work with other departments (QA, Mold Repair, Automation, Maintenance, Planning, Warehouse, etc) to troubleshoot processes to ensure that all internal and external requirements are met. Regarding extremely complicated processes the team member must coordinate the necessary resources needed to complete the troubleshooting task.

Responsibilities
General machine troubleshooting/Root-cause analysis

Mechanical alignments (Feeding systems, cylinders, mating components etc.)
Vision troubleshooting & adjustments (Cognex etc.)
Part installation and replacements (Spare parts etc.)
Continuous improvement projects
Reading, editing, and creating documentation
Assisting in machine builds and major projects
Requirements
2-year associate degree and/or trade apprenticeship strongly preferred.
5+ years in a medium to high-volume manufacturing environment.
Hydraulics & pneumatics, Vision Systems (Cognex preferred), 2D and 3D CAD (Solidworks preferred), Servo Motors, Robots, Feeding systems, PLC, Part Machining (lathes etc.), Measurement Equipment (include lab measurement devices).

Shift Schedule: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Responsibilities
Completes visual and mechanical inspections based on control plan, drawing, spec sheets and procedures. Able to expedite and prioritize workload.
Works with die setters, engineers, and/or managers in meeting the company quality policy by providing written and verbal communication related to specifications and data in a clear concise manner.
Quarantines product, performs transactions in ERP system, creates and maintains detailed records of inspections on various forms, prepares data packages for shipments.
Works with QC Inspector III, engineers, or managers. Supports management initiatives to improve the efficiencies such as creating and updating key quality documents such as visual standards and inspection instructions.
Requirements
High School graduate or equivalent
1-3 years of inspection experience in close tolerance manufacturing
Must have a good understanding of GD&T to be able to interpret part specifications.
Must be able to use skillfully metrology equipment such as all hand gauges, microscopes, comparators.
Must be organized and able to maintain a clean workspace.
Must have the ability to use a computer with minimal training.
Must be able to quickly adapt to using Microsoft and Adobe software to create key quality documents.

Requirements
BSME or Plastics related degree required.
At least 5 years' experience with plastic process development of high tolerance plastic parts.
Extensive knowledge of engineering grade plastics as it relates to plastic processing.
Advanced knowledge of Mold tooling required
Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE) as it relates to plastic processing.
Scientific molding expertise: Master Molder preferred
Must possess good analytical and problem-solving skills
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Must be a driven self-starter with the ability to multi-task and set priorities with little supervision
Must be a team player with the ability to interact effectively across departments
Must have good windows-based PC skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, etc.)

Responsibilities:
Represent the customer in order to ensure that the customer's expectations are clearly understood and being met.
Provide leadership to technical teams responsible for successful launch of multiple complex programs.
Service and grow our program base within the Medical / Life Science Industry (Technical Sales)
Responsible for overseeing the coordination and on-time/in-budget completion of all projects which may involve some or all of the following: program management and measurement of machined product and fixtures/tooling, progressive stamped parts and tooling, insert molding parts and tooling, factory assembled automation, and other related tooling/processes.
Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) including completion of related documentation, including but not limited to: DOE's, FMEA's, Process Flowcharts, Control Plans, Capability Studies and Gage R&R's.
Ability to participate in product design (R&D) meetings with Medical Customers in relationship with Weiss-Aug Manufacturing technologies.
Oversee the creation and distribution of project schedules. Ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met including assignment of responsibilities, monitor progress and report status to management/customer.
Facilitate Tooling Kickoff, Specification Review, Design Review and Lessons Learned (Post Mortem) Meetings.
Oversee the development and input of initial BOM and detailed Routing

Requirements
Requires a 4-yr engineering, technical or management degree or substitute experience; graduate degree in engineering, technical or management discipline is preferred.
Minimum of 5 yrs. experience in program management/technical project management and/or manufacturing and/or product design (R&D) environment. Experience in medical device/life science industry required.
Experience with product design, program/project management, and understanding of tight-tolerance manufactured products is required.
Ability to read blueprints and other technical documents. Understanding of ANSI/ISO drawing standards and GD&T dimensioning preferable.
Ability to use SolidWorks for product/tooling design preferable.
Knowledge of quality inspection tools and methods preferable. Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools and methods also preferable.
Knowledge of GMP/ISO Quality Systems required.
Knowledge of TQM, Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles preferable.
Knowledge of machined product, progressive metal stamping and/or insert molding processes desirable.
Participate actively in a team-oriented environment. Provide leadership to cross-functional teams whenever necessary with ability to lead in all areas of a manufacturing organization.

Sr. Product Release Engineer
to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide. In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and evaluating products. They use their knowledge of engineering principles and technology to develop new products, improve existing products, and ensure that design specifications are met.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of programs from concept definition through successful transfer to manufacturing, advocate for the customer and needs/requirements.
Provide leadership to cross-functional technical teams responsible for successful launch of multiple complex programs.
Responsible for overseeing the coordination and on-time/in-budget completion of all project tasks which may involve some or all of the following technologies: progressive stamping, insert molding, factory automation and other related tooling/processes.
Oversee the creation and distribution of project schedules. Ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met including assignment of responsibilities.
Facilitate design definition, design reviews, tooling kickoff, and project postmortem activities.
Understand and meet Regulatory (FDA) requirements and processes for development.
Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) including completion of related documentation, including but not limited to: DOE's, FMEA's, Process Flowcharts, Control Plans, Capability Studies and Gage R&R's.
Oversee the creation of BOMs and initiation of the change control process (ECO) relating to Engineering documentation.
Jointly responsible for successful transfer of tooling to Manufacturing along with Tooling and Design Engineering functions.
Oversee the selection and management of key suppliers and the completion of requisitions for purchased tooling or other product or services. Interface with outside suppliers to ensure they provide product or services on-time and to specifications.
Assist in determining needs for additional personnel and/or training in order to meet program needs.
Identify and facilitate addition of personnel, training, and special equipment needs to support project success.
Interface with customer on technical and schedule-related issues, ensure program progress is communicated to customer at regular intervals.
Participate in customer, internal, regulatory, and quality system audits.
Support Sales as needed to assist in identifying potential leads and opportunities
Requirements
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or biomedical engineering
Minimum of 10 years of medical device or life science industry experience, preferably in a product development engineering position.
Experience in developing and implementing procedures, methods, and tools for the manufacture or design and testing of medical products.
Experience in contributing to technical and cross-functional teams in accomplishing projects with notable impact(s) on company objectives.
Experience in Regulatory (FDA) requirements and processes for development.
Pay Range: $120 - $140K + Relocation

Validation Engineer
to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide. In this role you will be responsible for Validation/PPAP Packages on new customer programs, as well as ensuring compliance is applicable regulatory bodies and standards (ISO13485, 21 CFR 820, GMP).
Responsibilities:
Responsible for Master Validation Reports, including writing and execution of IQ, OQ, PQ Protocols
Works independently, taking lead on PPAP / Validation Completion. Leads team to provide deliverables, and takes initiative to proactively management the PPAP Process, including all applicable APQP documentation.
Responsible for SOP and Technical Writing for New Programs
Must have practical knowledge of GMP, ISO13485, and/or 21 CFR 820 Compliance
Represent the customer in order to ensure that the customer's quality expectations are clearly understood and being met.
Support Program Management team on launch and management of medical device programs.
Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) including completion of related documentation, including but not limited to: DOE's, FMEA's, Process Flowcharts, Control Plans, Capability Studies and Gage R&R's.
Ability to participate in product design (R&D) meetings with Medical Customers in relationship with understanding key quality deliverables.
Oversee the development and input of initial BOM and detailed Routing
Oversee the initiation and/or coordination of the change control process (ECO) relating to Engineering documentation.
Primary auditee responsible for Validation, PPAP, APQP Packages to third party auditors.
Ability to Understand Statistics as related to SPC, GR&R, MSA Studies
Lead-in customer, internal and registrar quality system audits.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 yrs. (equivalent) experience in product quality position, with direct experience PPAP/Validation Deliverables. Experience in medical device/life science (GxP) industry required.
Requires a 4-yr engineering degree or substitute experience; graduate degree in engineering, technical or management discipline is preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and other technical documents. Understanding of ANSI/ISO drawing standards and GD&T dimensioning required.
Ability to uses Minitab preferred.
Knowledge of quality inspection tools and methods required. Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools and methods also preferable.
Knowledge of GMP/ISO/21 CFR 820 Quality Systems required.
Knowledge of TQM, Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles preferable.
Knowledge of progressive metal stamping and/or insert molding processes desirable.
Strong technical writing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge or MRP or ERP software preferable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
