PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Maintenance Technician Level II is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and doing repairs within Grand Lodge.

Be on time. Ensure you have reliable transportation and can be on time for scheduled shifts and mandatory meetings.
Food Handler Permit or Certification. As a prerequisite to employment, you'll need to obtain and maintain this as required by state or local regulations.
Complete, pass, and maintain trainings. We promised to set you up for success. Trainings, certifications, and knowledge tests will ensure you can meet Dutch Bros standards and policies. Federal, state, and local regulations will be included.
Math. Don't worry, it's just cash! You might be required to do mental math at times.
Communication. Written, oral, and verbal English proficiency is required. Other language fluency is highly valued. Talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of verbal communication happens regularly. You may be expected to view things from near and/or far distances.
What to expect. You might stand, walk or be in movement during your working hours, which can be up to 10 hours in a shift, so take those breaks to recharge! There may be possible stooping, kneeling, or crawling. You may need to push, pull, lift, or carry up to 65 lbs, talk about a workout. At times, you may be exposed to some pretty chilly or hot weather, but we have Dutch gear to help! Occasional ascending or descending on ladders or ramps is a possibility. Working at Dutch Bros includes frequent, continual, intermittent flexing, or rotation of the wrist(s) and spine.
Compensation:
Up to $18.00 per hour
Number includes an average tip of $8.00 per hour.

SUMMARY
The Part-Time Steward supports the back-of-house operations by maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the kitchen and dish areas. Working under the direction of Lead Steward, this role focuses on operating dishwashing equipment, properly handling kitchen tools, and ensuring all wares and workspaces are cleaned and ready for service. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, and takes pride in supporting a safe and organized kitchen environment. This is a part-time position ideal for individuals seeking flexible hours in a professional culinary setting.
JOB ENVIRONMENT
Primarily works indoors in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment. Frequently exposed to water, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment. Requires the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, and safely operating dish machines and other sanitation tools.
SKILLS, EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Prior stewarding, dishwashing, or kitchen support experience preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow direction

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Operate dishwashing machine and manually wash pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of all dish areas, including floors, walls, and equipment
• Assist in organizing and storing kitchen equipment and wares in appropriate locations
• Dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste according to proper procedures
• Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling of cleaning products
• Support culinary staff by restocking wares, utensils, and cleaning supplies
• Communicate equipment malfunctions or supply needs to Lead Steward or BOH Manager
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks and other kitchen maintenance as assigned
COMPENSATION
$18.00/hour - $20.00/hour.
This range is inclusive of multiple job levels. Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with market data.
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS
· May be required to work outside of regular business hours, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays, to accommodate business needs
· Part-Time Schedule, typically ranging between 15-30 hours per week depending on department needs
· Takes on additional duties as required or assigned by management
