ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: Safely transports product from the warehouse to the customer location and ensures product is delivered on a timely basis, according to assigned route. Unloads product from trailer, by hand or using hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards (e.g. handling product according to preferred work methods, scanning product as it is delivered into the store). Responsibilities: Fulfilling transfer orders from other branches and keeping track of materials and inventory Load transfer shipments at the appropriate scheduled times Process and stage all tagged material to be placed in designated areas Complete cycle count for assigned areas Perform daily housekeeping practices for assigned work areas Assist in all warehouse or delivery duties on an as-needed basis Perform all other duties as assigned by the leadership team or senior management Required Skills: Attention to detail Accountability Motivation to complete tasks independently Able to work independently or in a team setting Problem-solving skills Ability to multitask Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with approved clean driver vehicle report Forklift certification is preferred but not required No history of drug or alcohol abuse Provide current health card Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 50 lbs. or more Ability to climb, crouch, and grasp Ability to listen and speak clearly
