Job Responsibilities:
Scope of Position
* Leads daily warehouse activities such as material handling, inventory movement, shipping, and receiving. It helps keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and running efficiently. The role also serves as the backup box truck driver, responsible for picking up and delivering parts and materials as needed. The Lead Material Handler works closely with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow and completes required paperwork such as packing slips, transfer forms, and checklists.
Minimum Qualifications
* Minimum age 21 years.
* Valid Indiana Chauffeur's Driver's License and current DOT Medical Certification.
* Must pass a pre-offer Driver Road Test Certification conducted by MPT Muncie.
* 1-2 years of warehouse/material handling experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain.
* 1-2 years of box truck driving experience preferred.
* Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and stand for extended periods.
* Strong attention to detail in paperwork, load verification, and inventory tracking.
* Familiarity with basic vehicle safety, DOT compliance, and safe driving practices.
* Comfortable working independently and taking initiative when needed.
* Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support warehouse team in shipping, receiving, inventory, and staging activities.
* Provide break and shift coverage for the material handling crew.
* Assist in organizing and improving dock and warehouse efficiency.
* Ensure accurate transactions in SAP and through RF scanners.
* Maintain FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices and purge obsolete materials appropriately.
* Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
* Keep warehouse, crib, and storage areas clean, organized, and "tour-ready."
* Verify shipment accuracy and support coordination with carriers for inbound and outbound loads.
* Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and company safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
* Participate in safety talks, quality meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Work collaboratively with production and scheduling teams to ensure timely material flow and availability.
* Safely operate a company-owned box truck (typically 26 ft. or under) to transport automotive parts and materials, when required.
* Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations, when required.
* Load and unload cargo using approved equipment (e.g., pallet jacks), ensuring loads are secure and protected, when required.
* Verify counts and condition of materials during pickup and delivery; complete all related paperwork accurately, when required.

Principal Accountabilities
Daily Engagement of workforce through direction of work assignments, compensation, communication, recognition, development and coaching, etc...
Manage the workflow process associated with electronics and some electromechanical areas of the facility, including the ASRS system
Develop preventative maintenance procedures to maintain equipment associated with electronics and limited electromechanical equipment throughout the facility; including the management of parts inventory and corrective actions
Manage safety culture through training and observations
Liaison to contractors and Utilities department for projects and work orders
Develop and update PLC and HMI programs as required based on established guidelines and controls for this type of equipment
Ensure compliance of our measuring devices (i.e. Packers and Stockyards and Nebraska Department of Weights and Measures)
Responsible for department budget, including labor and operating expenses
Required Qualifications
Legal to work in the US without the need of a Visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
2 year degree or better in electrical or electromechanical technologies or 3 years of experience with industrial process controls and industrial networking
Competency in basic electrical 24 and 120 volt AC and DC circuits
Basic knowledge of Windows XP/7 operating systems
Ability to read, write and speak English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in food processing environment
Proficient in Allen-Bradley PLC Programming and troubleshooting, RsLogix 500/Control Logix 5000, Factory Talk View
Install and trouble shoot Industrial Networks- Ethernet base and components
Ability to read and interpret schematics, general machine installation and repairs

Job Responsibilities
Build Mechanical sub-assemblies, final assemblies and any other Mechanical task for the job.
Follow safety procedures/ training as outlined and identified by Fori Automation management, MIOSHA, and OSHA.
Complete as required in process QC check sheets.
Complete as required QC audits.
Assure good craftsmanship on jobs that are being built.
Follow good housekeeping practices.
Take direction from Leader and/or Supervisor

Assist in start-up/de-bug of equipment.
Recommend as appropriate work methods and/or materials that will improve existing designs.
Travel as needed to assist in installations, de-bug, tryout, or problem solving at customer locations.
Read and interpret build prints. Work with Mechanical Engineers and build Leaders to correct any problems with design of the machine/controls.
Recommend, initiate, and follow-up as needed on engineering changes and document according to ECO procedures.
Work on continuous improvement projects as needed.
Support special assignments as needed.
Provide training and assistance to new employees.
