Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities
Has a thorough understanding of our company's policies, procedures, processes, equipment and capabilities to serve our customers. Leads the manufacturing team within established company policies and procedures to meet company objectives and customer expectations.
Plans work, makes assignments and coordinates work flow to balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to meet manufacturing objectives and customer delivery expectations. Maintains proper inventory levels. Adjusts the schedule as necessary.

Requirements
At least 3 years of Supervisory or Leadership experience in a CNC Machining Department.
High school education is required. At least some college education in a related field is preferred. Has the necessary training to be proficient in the position.

Demonstrated ability to lead people to achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations.

What you will do
The entry-level Production Laborer will be responsible for the operation of various mill production equipment, general housekeeping tasks, accurately reading tape measures and gauges and other test equipment, following directions, ensuring quality, and monitoring the process to produce quality products. This position is responsible for making equipment adjustments, cleaning the equipment/ facility, and performing other designated tasks in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the standard operating procedures (SOP). They understand and align business operations and their assigned department as he/she executes their role to exceed customer expectations and align with Clearwater Paper business, cultural, financial, and operational objectives.
Job functions include:
Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and other associates.

Employment Type: Full Time Segment: Danfoss Power Solutions Segment Job Category: Supply Chain and Operations **The Impact You'll Make** A Production Operations Technician encompasses the job functions required to coordinate parts, assemble, test, paint, package, and ship company products. The POT performs a variety of manufacturing tasks that generally include assembling, operating equipment, setting up machines, testing, and dismantling unit assemblies and complex subassembly workstations according to standard work instructions.
This is a 3rd Shift position, with work hours from Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
**What You'll Be Doing**
Monitor production lines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify any issues or malfunctions.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and machinery problems to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery to ensure proper operation.
Collaborate with the engineering team to implement process improvements and optimize production workflows.
Perform quality control inspections to ensure products meet company standards and customer specifications.
Document and report any production issues, equipment failures, or quality concerns to the appropriate stakeholders.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist in training new production operators on equipment operation and safety procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance, to resolve production-related issues.
Rotate among all stations within each assembly cell performing repetitive work at a consistent pace to meet customer demands.
Work overtime as needed to

Attendance: Rarely absent or late, pre-schedules and pre-approves absences.
Safety: Follows safety & housekeeping standards and procedures, uses appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), looks after the safety of others.
Quality: Follows standard work procedures, self acknowledges and corrects mistakes, works to avoid errors and get it right the first time.

**Required Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Technical or vocational training/certification
**Physical Requirements:** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time; use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
While performing the duties of this job the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The employee has the potential to be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is at a level the company recommends hearing protection. The employee must be physically able to wear appropriate PPE.
