Hold a SMAW 110-18 6GT Pipe certification, and either a GMAW-P Aluminum certification or 3 SMAW and 3 FCAW pipe/plate certifications. Experience Requirements 4 - 6 years of experience as a Welder in a shipyard. Other Requirements Must be able to work in various environmental conditions including outdoor weather, heights, confined spaces, loud noise, and exposure to airborne particles or fumes. Full-time Description The MIG and TIG Welder will assemble pieces of metal together or repair damage in metal components using heavy machinery that emits high heat, melting the metal into shape.
