Summary:
$15,000 SIGN-ON BONUS (Full-time) or $7,500 SIGN-ON BONUS (Part-time)

OhioHealth currently has MRI Technologist openings at various locations across the organization on varying shifts. The applicant's location of interest will be discussed during the initial screening process. Depending on the location, there could be a call requirement for the position.
The MRI Technologist prepares patients for testing (including thorough screening questioning), assists the radiologist during testing, operates the MRI equipment for a variety of procedures, maintains supply inventory in assigned rooms, and covers call duty, as assigned.

Operates MRI equipment, including the magnet, injectors, independent consoles, physiological patient monitors, and cardiac gating/monitoring equipment.
Uses equipment to properly adjust pulse sequences according to body part and diagnosis.

What You Will Do Performs MRI scans as directed by radiologist Patient care during visit to MRI Answers phones and arranges schedule for in-patient request Assures a safe and clean environment Maintains knowledge of technical skills Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers, and co-workers Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment Displays commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values Demonstrates successful technical/patient skills by efficiently implementing special procedure technology in the MR area Uses administrative skills to contribute to the successful operation of the department Collaborates effectively and in a timely manner with co-workers and clinical staff Provides age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics.

Qualifications Education Qualifications Associate's Degree completion of an accredited 2 year program in a school of Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology (Required) OR Other Accredited Program: Completion of an accredited program in a school of Sonography with current ARDMS certificate (Required) and High School Equivalent / GED (Required) Experience Qualifications 2+ years MR Scanning Experience (Preferred ) Skills and Abilities Knowledge of sterile and surgical procedures.
(Required proficiency) Knowledge of MRI equipment and safety in MRI environment.
(Required proficiency) Knowledge of radiology information system.
