Overview
We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Labor Relations Manager to lead and provide guidance on employee and labor relations activities including collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), employment laws, and organizational policies, conduct investigations, advise management on labor and contract issues, deliver training on labor relations and CBA interpretation, and ensures fairness, due process.
Responsibilities

MRI Technologist - Per Diem

Purpose: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to produce diagnostic MRI images of designated anatomic areas as prescribed by established scan protocols, while following department policies and providing the appropriate care to the age of the patient served by the department of radiology.
Essential Responsibilities
1. Coordinates timely throughput for MRI patients, by prioritizing exams based on priority level. Escalates hurdles to timely completion to Lead MRI Technologist or Manager.
2. Properly identifies patient using two patient identifiers, checks the imaging order for complete information, proper exam and/or procedure and schedules/prioritizes as needed, and assess risk of pregnancy prior to commencing with exam or procedure.
3. Explains the procedure to the patient with professionalism and compassion.
4. Performs IV cannulation, as prescribed by Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP), using aseptic technique as per NYS DOH Scope of Practice. Performs iStat testing in accordance with the established policies.
5. Positions patient ensuring patient comfort and modesty. Selects proper imaging protocol reflective of imaging order, maintains a high degree of accuracy in positioning and adjusts scan techniques to obtain optimal MRI images.
6. Operates power injectors in preparation for and administration of contrast media under the direct supervision of the supervising physician in accordance with department policy and regulatory standards.
7. Demonstrate knowledge of and practices MRI safety and Screening according to policy, fire safety, infection control and sterile technique. Demonstrates critical care skills to patients with higher acuity. (ED, ICU, NICU, Preoperative Neuro MR)
8. Is proficient in the operation of post processing workstations. Performs critique of exam for completeness and correct labeling. Is responsible for accurate and timely exam verification within the hospital's RIS system and archival of completed studies to the PACS system.
9. Follows infection control and safety guidelines, cleans and disinfects scanner and exam rooms. Properly stocks assigned room prior to the start and end of shift.
10. Protocols exams for the next day to ensure that the examinations were scheduled properly, flag any contraindications and requests revised orders as necessary.
11. Coordinates all aspects of care for the MRI patient to include, but not limited to coordination, and participation as necessary, of patient transportation to the appropriate areas, communicates pertinent patient information with nursing units, exercises ethical judgment and critical thinking when performing their duties, maintains strict patient confidentiality, monitors patient's comfort while in the MRI department.

Overview
Performs repairs and preventive maintenance on biomedical equipment devices, specifically Alaris/Care Fusion; and services and repairs other devices under general supervision.

Responsibilities
In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for the therapeutic clinical services in external beam (including Adaptive-RT, SBRT, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SGRT) and brachytherapy (HDR, radiopharmaceutical) programs. Your work will ensure the safe, accurate, and effective delivery of radiation therapy for our patients, making a direct impact on their care and outcomes.
At our Radiation Oncology Department, you'll work with a cutting-edge array of equipment, including VARIAN ETHOS system with HyperSight, VARIAN Halcyon, VARIAN Trilogy (soon to be replaced with a VARIAN EDGE), GE PET/CT Simulator, and Siemens CT Simulator (featuring 4D and MAR options). We are also integrating VisionRT's novel SGRT solutions, such as InBore Align RT, SimRT, and MapRT, into our clinical workflow. This is an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in the development of adaptive treatment protocols using SGRT techniques.
Our department boasts a highly active brachytherapy program, offering a wide range of treatment modalities. Our physicians, who are recognized experts in brachytherapy, utilize the state-of-the-art VARIAN Bravos afterloader for high-dose-rate (HDR) treatments, including GYN, interstitial, and contact procedures. Additionally, all radiopharmaceutical infusions, such as XOFIGO and PLUVICTO, are administered in a specialized area within the department.
We use Mosaiq as our EMR, and ARIA (Eclipse with RapidPlan, Brachyvision) as our treatment planning system. In addition, we use a suite of products from Radformation (Autocontour, EZFluence, ClearCalc, ClearCheck, QuickCode), MIM (Maestro, ProtégéAI+), and LAP RadCalc. For routine QA testing, we have a range of advanced physics equipment, including a PTW BeamScan water phantom, several detector arrays (SNC ArcCheck, PTW Octavius 4D, PTW Starcheck Maxi, SNC Mapcheck, FilmQAPro), as well as all types of phantoms and dosimetric devices necessary for routine QA tests. Our team utilizes the TotalQA (ImageOwl) cloud-based platform for QA analysis and management.

Overview
As part of the Environmental Services team, the Waxer Stripper is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of
the Medical Center's facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and presentable environment for our patients, visitors, and
staff. Strips, waxes, and buffs floors, utilizing appropriate scrubbing and buffing machines, and cleaning
chemicals to restore floor finishes. Additionally, performs the duties of an Environmental Worker as needed.
Responsibilities
* Strips, waxes, buffs floors using appropriate floor scrubbing, floor buffing machines, and cleaning chemicals.
* Sweeps, dusts, vacuums, scrubs, wipes, polishes, and mops hallways, patient's rooms, offices, bathrooms, and other assigned areas of the Medical Center, including outside properties.
* Moves beds, tables, desks, chairs, copy machines, boxes, and other furniture.
* Reports all hazardous conditions/equipment to the Manager or Team Leader immediately. Reports all accidents/incidents in accordance with established policies and procedures. Complete and file reports as directed.
* Maintains the care and use of supplies, equipment, and appearance of work areas. Notifies the Manager or Team Lead of any equipment issues, or if stock levels of supplies, equipment, etc. are low.
* Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent patient care information to assure patient rights are protected.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Environmental Services or housekeeping experience a plus.
Prior experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment a plus.
Skills:
Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.
Speaks, reads and writes English to the extent required by the position; knowledge of a secondary language a
plus.
Pay Range
USD $24.33 - USD $24.86 /Hr.

Overview
The Barista is responsible for creating and serving a variety of chilled and hot beverages, while providing exceptional customer service. In addition, the Barista takes orders, completes financial transactions, and maintains a clean and orderly area.
Responsibilities
* Greets customers promptly as they approach the counter. Maintains a positive attitude and provides excellent service during each transaction, by smiling and engaging in small talk when possible.
* Takes the customer's order and prepares the order according to brand specifications and/or the customer's request.
* Creates and serves chilled and hot beverages, such as coffees, teas, cappuccinos, espressos, lattes, and fruit blended drinks.
* Effectively and efficiently completes the financial transaction, and maintains the balance of the cash drawer at all times.
* Maintains a neat and clean station, and presentable work area.
* Completes side work as needed: stocks bread, refills salad bar, replenishes condiment stands, and wrap cookies.
Qualifications
Education:
High School graduation or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of one year of food service or related experience required.
Prior experience as a Barista preferred.
Prior experience as a cashier preferred.
Skills:
Must be customer-oriented, organized and detail-oriented.
Must pass basic math skills test.
Must be able to operate a cash register and handle monetary transactions quickly and accurately.
Excellent oral communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Possess good time management skills.
Good organizational abilities.
Speaks, reads and writes English to the extent required by the position; knowledge of a secondary language preferred.
Must pass MDP customer service test
Pay Range
USD $26.82 - USD $27.35 /Hr.
