Maimonides is seeking a Licensed Social Worker to deliver brief, evidence‑based caregiver support services as part of the Caring for Caregivers (C4C) initiative for adults who are 65 years old and older and their identified care partners. This per‑diem role focuses on caregiver identification, outreach and consent, needs and quality tracking screening, goal‑aligned (“What Matters”) action planning, tailored resource linkage with teach‑back, EMR documentation, care‑team communication, and prompt time‑limited follow‑ups.
In this role, you will:
Identify and engage caregivers of adults who are 65 and older through admission/rounds flags and referrals; obtain consent and explain program scope.
Conduct brief structured screens using evidence-based tools (e.g., PHQ‑2/9, GAD‑2/7, brief caregiver‑burden check, health‑literacy and SDOH prompts).
Facilitate a concise “What Matters” conversation to elicit the caregiver's priority needs and preferences; co‑create an action plan focused on1-3 priority areas.
Provide tailored resource packets (education, benefits, respite, mental health, community‑based supports); use teach‑back to ensure understanding and feasibility.
Coordinate with the care team (e.g., primary team, case management, nursing, behavioral health) to align plans and communicate a concise summary note.
Track outputs and outcomes (encounters, screening completion, referrals provided, closed‑loop hand‑offs, caregiver‑reported stress/depressive symptoms when available).
We require:
MSW from an accredited School of Social Work; NYS licensure or permit as applicable.
Minimum 1 year in medical, geriatric, primary care, or community health social work experience with brief screening, goal‑setting, and resource navigation preferred.
Motivational interviewing or equivalent brief counseling; familiarity with evidence-based screening tools (eg, PHQ/GAD screening); knowledge of accessible and relevant caregiver resources (respite, benefits, mental health); EMR proficiency; strong communication and teamwork.
Diligent and effective follow-up; problem‑solving and sound judgment.
Hourly Pay: $45.81 - $64.77 (based on experience). Monday-Friday.

Bioinformatician II- Tisch Cancer Institute BiNGS Core

We are seeking an experienced bioinformatician for the Tisch Cancer Center Bioinformatics for Next Generation Sequencing (BiNGS) shared resource facility, to lead transcriptomics and epigenetics data analysis projects in Cancer biology. The mission of BiNGS is to enhance scholarship and facilitate NGS data analysis in the ISMMS community by providing access to state-of-the-art tools and training. The BiNGS staff support a broad range of bioinformatics analyses for multiple applications spanning bulk ATAC-, RNA-, and ChIP-seq, CUT&RUN and HiC, single cell ATAC- and RNA-seq, single cell Multiome and Spatial Transcriptomics, WGS and WES. BiNGS further provides services for data management, bioinformatics tools development, access to biocomputing resources, web-based app development, and advanced computational training in data analysis. We are focused on delivering a comprehensive, rapid and user-friendly service.
More specifically, we are working on multiple projects together with PIs in the Tisch Cancer Center and the broader Mount Sinai community to analyze NGS related datasets. For example, we are working to understand the role of RAS mutations in the development of Leukemia utilizing single cell RNA- and ATAC-seq; understand the role of histone variants in cancer development utilizing enhancers analysis, transcriptomic analysis, open chromatin analysis and transcription factor network analysis; in another project, we are utilizing bulk and single cell, and spatial transcriptomics to understand breast cancer metastasis to bone. Finally, we are utilizing FIBER-seq (third generation PacBio long read sequencing), to better understand how chromatin remodelers shape the chromatin landscape.
We are seeking a highly motivated senior Bioinformatic Scientist who wants the opportunity to significantly impact the growth and success of our research programs, the bioinformatics core and the services we provide. The candidate will work closely with investigators to facilitate and enhance the processing of their projects. Commitment to accuracy, high attention-to-details, and ability to work independently are critical competencies for the role. The ability to lead projects and a team of bioinformaticians is a must. We feel that BiNGS presents a unique opportunity for senior bioinformaticians who seek to expand their data analysis skills; their understanding of transcriptional and epigenetic programs and their role in driving cancer initiation, progression and metastasis, and other diseases; their ability to communicate science clearly and efficiently; their ability to lead a small team of junior of bioinformaticians, and their involvement in reducing racial bias in science through mentorship of URM in Science.
**Qualifications**
+ M.S. in Bioinformatics, Biomedical Informatics, Computational Biology, or Genomics. Alternately, M.S. in a discipline requiring strong computational and analytical skills supplemented with some biology exposure. Ph.D in a related field preferred. For example, correlation with gene expression signatures, and Histone PTM enrichment analysis. The ideal candidate will be able to navigate the available datasets and extract meaningful data based on the system he/she works on.
+ Provide analyses and visualization for presentations and publications.
+ Participate in the implementation of new software tools (e.g., MOFA and SNF) to process, analyze and visualize high-throughput multidimensional sequencing data.
+ The candidate will be required to identify the main requirements based on relevant questions, identifyavailable tools, implement and test.
+ PManage data and interactive tools on local HPC and commercially available clouds preferably Amazon Web Services. The candidate will execute all data analysis on HPC using bash and manage the storage and archiving of all NGS datasets on the MSSM HPC.

+ Provide training to TCC investigators and trainees.

Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Division Chief of Hematology/Oncology at the Maimonides Cancer Center. This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to shape and advance a growing, multidisciplinary oncology program in a dynamic urban health system. The Division Chief will oversee a dedicated team of 9 full-time faculty who subspecialize across disease sites including hematologic malignancies, gynecologic and genitourinary oncology, and sarcoma. Overview
Performs repairs and preventive maintenance on biomedical equipment devices, specifically Alaris/Care Fusion; and services and repairs other devices under general supervision.

Overview
Conducts all relevant analyses, QA reports, maintenance, controls and routine upkeep for all Point of Care Testing and instrumentation. Follows all established standards and practices set forth by the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and the Department of Respiratory Care Divisions as per JCAHO, CAP and New York State Department of Health Regulation.
Responsibilities
* Assists Point of Care testing personnel with maintenance of supplies and equipment for each system as per the manufacturers recommendations and all JCAHO, CAP and NYSDOH guidelines.

Responsibilities
In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for the therapeutic clinical services in external beam (including Adaptive-RT, SBRT, IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SGRT) and brachytherapy (HDR, radiopharmaceutical) programs. Your work will ensure the safe, accurate, and effective delivery of radiation therapy for our patients, making a direct impact on their care and outcomes.
At our Radiation Oncology Department, you'll work with a cutting-edge array of equipment, including VARIAN ETHOS system with HyperSight, VARIAN Halcyon, VARIAN Trilogy (soon to be replaced with a VARIAN EDGE), GE PET/CT Simulator, and Siemens CT Simulator (featuring 4D and MAR options). We are also integrating VisionRT's novel SGRT solutions, such as InBore Align RT, SimRT, and MapRT, into our clinical workflow. This is an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in the development of adaptive treatment protocols using SGRT techniques.
Our department boasts a highly active brachytherapy program, offering a wide range of treatment modalities. Our physicians, who are recognized experts in brachytherapy, utilize the state-of-the-art VARIAN Bravos afterloader for high-dose-rate (HDR) treatments, including GYN, interstitial, and contact procedures. Additionally, all radiopharmaceutical infusions, such as XOFIGO and PLUVICTO, are administered in a specialized area within the department.
We use Mosaiq as our EMR, and ARIA (Eclipse with RapidPlan, Brachyvision) as our treatment planning system. In addition, we use a suite of products from Radformation (Autocontour, EZFluence, ClearCalc, ClearCheck, QuickCode), MIM (Maestro, ProtégéAI+), and LAP RadCalc. For routine QA testing, we have a range of advanced physics equipment, including a PTW BeamScan water phantom, several detector arrays (SNC ArcCheck, PTW Octavius 4D, PTW Starcheck Maxi, SNC Mapcheck, FilmQAPro), as well as all types of phantoms and dosimetric devices necessary for routine QA tests. Our team utilizes the TotalQA (ImageOwl) cloud-based platform for QA analysis and management.

Overview
We have an amazing opportunity for a full-time Development Events Manager to lead all aspects of fundraising events - galas, donor receptions, executive events, golf events - while cultivating relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners to achieve revenue goals.
Responsibilities
* Drive sponsorships, ticket sales, auction procurement, and peer-to-peer fundraising.
* Identify, cultivate, and steward donors through events and follow-up.
* Serve as the primary liaison for event sponsors, corporate partners, and major donors.
* Prepare sponsorship proposals and stewardship reports.
* Plan and execute all major fundraising events (e.g., annual Pink Runway and Community for Kids events, annual golf tournament, executive and major donor events).

Overview
The Clinic Trials Support Specialist responsible for coordinating and supporting the conduct of clinical research protocols and projects, with a primary focus on screening, enrolling, and monitoring patient participants. This role works closely with investigators, clinical teams, and research staff to ensure studies are conducted in accordance with approved protocols, regulatory requirements, and institutional policies while maintaining participant safety and data integrity.
Responsibilities
* Prepare, submit, and maintain IRB and regulatory documentation, including Trial Master File, delegation logs, regulatory binders, and essential study files
* Screen, enroll, and consent participants in collaboration with the Principal Investigator, ensuring proper informed consent documentation
* Educate study participants on protocol requirements and support completion of required study procedures and surveys
* Coordinate participant visits, tests, and procedures; assist physicians during patient visits in accordance with study protocols
* Monitor subject recruitment and study progress, report adverse events in RAVE following discussion with the Principal Investigator
* Collect, process, and ship research specimens per protocol and IATA/DOT standards; manage study kit inventory, shipments, and data collection from electronic medical records, including timely database submission and query resolution
Qualifications
We require:
* Bachelors of Science in Biology or Chemistry; Masters preferred.
* 2+ years of research experience in the medical field or an advanced degree in a Biology or Chemistry required.
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* Good interpersonal and organizational skills.

Overview
As part of the Environmental Services team, the Waxer Stripper is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of
the Medical Center's facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and presentable environment for our patients, visitors, and
staff. Strips, waxes, and buffs floors, utilizing appropriate scrubbing and buffing machines, and cleaning
chemicals to restore floor finishes. Additionally, performs the duties of an Environmental Worker as needed.
Responsibilities
* Strips, waxes, buffs floors using appropriate floor scrubbing, floor buffing machines, and cleaning chemicals.
* Sweeps, dusts, vacuums, scrubs, wipes, polishes, and mops hallways, patient's rooms, offices, bathrooms, and other assigned areas of the Medical Center, including outside properties.
* Moves beds, tables, desks, chairs, copy machines, boxes, and other furniture.
* Reports all hazardous conditions/equipment to the Manager or Team Leader immediately. Reports all accidents/incidents in accordance with established policies and procedures. Complete and file reports as directed.

Plans, supervises and performs research relating to paraphysiological changes in the heart and skeletal muscles in consultation with the Research Director
Responsibilities
* Prepares experimental findings for publication and presentation at conferences and for grant proposals.

* Performs in vivo monitoring of various systems in rats.
* Performs microdissections to isolate nerve muscle biopsies and hearts from rats.
* Utilizes the in vitro EMG chamber and monitors nerve action potential, muscle action potential and other responses to nerve and/or muscle stimulation in rats during fatigue and drug exposure.
* Prepares frozen sections of skeletal muscles and measures changes in amplitude and time course of the responses of heart and skeletal muscle using a specialized software package.
* Performs all statistical analysis of data using Sigmastat package and generates graphs representing numerical changes in the responses.
* Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
* Checks that equipment is functioning properly; reports any problems or malfunctions to Director.
Qualifications
