Job Responsibilities: Perform gastroenterological procedures including lowers GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy. Conduct outpatient consultations, managing an average of 14-16 patients per day. Provide inpatient care and be on day call (7am-4pm) for urgent procedures. Work collaboratively with a full support staff including CRNA and anesthesiologist during procedures. Participate in the scheduling and preparation for endo procedures both in the OR and clinic. Utilize EMR software (Epic) for patient records and documentation. Qualifications: Board Certified in Gastroenterology (ABMS or AOA) - REQUIRED Active Maine license or IMLC LOQ - HIGHLY PREFERRED ACLS and BLS certifications - REQUIRED Availability to work at least one week per month for the remainder of the year and into 2026 - REQUIRED Experience in performing advanced procedures is preferred but not mandatory.
