Assists with data entry of internal and external badge requests into the system application. Responsible for maintaining digital photo equipment and tracking supply use of materials used in the process.
Assists with and facilitates the training and education of security and other personnel assigned to assist with ID badging and access control process, including, but not limited to, the establishment of standard-work, assignments, priorities, and activities.
Troubleshoots and resolves printing errors, addresses printer failures, and needs for service.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Answers telephone calls, emails, routes callers, takes messages and provides routine information about ID badging and access control.
+ Provides assistance, guidance, and direction to staff members, contractors/vendors, students, volunteers and others as needed.
+ Creates identification badges for staff members, students, contractors/vendors, volunteers, and others required to badge into the facilities. Prints and prepares badges for timely distribution. Responsible for deliveries of all badges once completed either by contacting the employee to pick it up, courier, inner office mail, or personally delivering them.

+ Responsible for ID badging and access control for a specific region and supports ID badging and access control systems across WellSpan as needed.
+ Attends in-person orientations, photographs new hires, existing employees, contractors, vendors, and students as needed. Responsible for accurately downloading and importing of photos to cardholder records, printing of badges, reissuing expired badges, and associated handouts.
+ Assists with data entry of internal and external badge requests into the system application. Responsible for maintaining digital photo equipment and tracking supply use of materials used in the process.
+ Assists with and facilitates the training and education of security and other personnel assigned to assist with ID badging and access control process, including, but not limited to, the establishment of standard-work, assignments, priorities, and activities.
+ Troubleshoots and resolves printing errors, addresses printer failures, and needs for service.
+ Assists with ongoing management of the access control levels to add or remove cardholders as required. Makes daily security changes and modifications to the access control system, individual and group ID badge access level assignments, and card reader/door time zone adjustments for specific and/or routine events.
+ Programs temporary access cards when signed out by security for specific access and timeframes. Coordinates with outside entities, vendors, and contractors for access requests to sites. Works with departments on changes to and needs for access level assignments.
+ Provides field support and problem resolution for the access control systems. Supports assistance calls related to the access control systems. Identifies system issues, investigates potential causes, and resolves if capable. Contacts external support as needed to resolve issues that can't be resolved internally.
+ Orders card stock, lanyards, clips, covers, printer ribbons, print heads, and cleaning materials as needed. Orders proximity cards from vendor utilizing appropriate numbering methodology.
+ Makes recommendations about badge designs, types, and layouts for creating new badge designs.
+ Assists other various systems and teams that have connection to security and access control to include, but not limited to: Visitor Badging, Radiation Monitoring System, electronic infant monitoring systems, elevator control systems, panic button systems (e.g., nurse call, Strongline, ASCOM phones), vehicle registrations, parking violations, etc.
+ Communicates with the WellSpan Payroll department for automatic payroll deduction for employees due to vehicle violations or lost equipment replacement.
