If employed and not certified, or in the event certification lapses, individual is required to complete 30 hours of continuing education every 2 years.     CVOR Tech - Cardiac Open Heart Surgery Location Assignment Duration . Schedule Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:00 - 16:30) or flexible scheduling options available. Job Description The CVOR Tech will provide support in the cardiovascular operating room, assisting with various procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients during open heart surgeries. Responsibilities Assist with open heart surgery procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, and other cardiovascular surgeries. Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to all safety protocols. Handle instrumentation, provide the necessary supplies, and ensure the operational readiness of equipment. Participate in universal protocol, including time-out procedures. Be available for on-call shifts with a 30-minute response requirement. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience required. Current BLS certification and NBSTSA certification required. Experience with Level I trauma cases is necessary. EPIC experience is required.
