• Plan, layout and perform all required operations to install, maintain and repair a wide variety of plant equipment and accessories.
• Effectively troubleshoot using manuals, schematics, and diagrams to diagnose and eliminate problems as they arise.
• Safely install, maintain, and upgrade 3 phase motor control systems, AC/DC circuits, possess understanding of basic relay logic.
• Understand fluid power systems; troubleshoot, install, and repair power units, valve operation, cylinders, motors, pumps
• Perform basic fabrication by cutting and welding operations
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment using standard practices and procedures.
• Maintain work areas, tools and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow all company and equipment safety guidelines and ethics rules.

NON-ESSENTIAL TASKS:

• Maintain lift truck operator's license, main lift and other material handling equipment.
• Perform other duties as requested.

• General high school diploma.
• Must be able to maintain IME certification by fulfilling all requirements
• Two-year trade school or equivalent experience in industrial mechanical or electrical is required.
• Operate the maintenance computer to maintain records, work history and inventory of parts.
• Use meters, gauges, or other types of test equipment to facilitate quality and timely repairs.

As a Maintenance Associate - Handyman at Sevita in Rancho Cucamonga, you will ensure all grounds and equipment are in good working order to maintain a safe, attractive, and enjoyable living and working environment for the individuals we serve.

Pay Rate: $19-$22

Responsibilities:

• Oversee preventative maintenance of multiple programs/offices
• Plan and schedule work assignments to accomplish workload
• Coordinate with outside contractors to ensure quality of work delivered
• Maintain buildings and grounds in compliance with Federal, State, and local laws
• Repair and maintain mechanical equipment, including heating and air conditioning, electrical/plumbing, painting, laundry equipment, and wire buildings for computer networking
• Inventory for equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Work with building inspectors, fire marshals, and vendors to maintain fire alarm, smoke and heat detectors, and fire pull
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year related experience
• Access to a pick up truck preferred
• Working knowledge and ability to handle all maintenance and electrical equipment
• Ability to travel to multiple programs/offices in the region to do maintenance
• COVID-19 full vaccination required
