Key Responsibilities
Complete maintenance service requests, including general repairs (drywall, painting, carpentry) and HVAC/appliance repairs

About the role

Responsibilities
Performs preventative maintenance & repair on all facility equipment such as conveyors, forklifts, industrial batteries, carton sealers, dock levellers and dock doors, shrink wrap machines, printers, HVAC equipment, hydraulic Pneumatic, building plumbing & electrical, etc. in an efficient and proper manner.
Handles daily routine of changing, watering, and charging of facility forklift batteries and daily cardboard baler maintenance-tie, takeout and cleanup.
Performs daily, weekly, monthly and yearly routine inspection on all facility safety and fire suppression system such as fire pump, fire sprinkler system, alarm monitoring system, fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, racking, fall protection equipment, equipment checklist, etc. in an efficient and proper manner. Troubleshoots to diagnose source of failure.
Assists the Maintenance Manager with repairs, preventative maintenance scheduling, parts inventory and purchases and projects as required.
Maintains a safe work environment, perform job functions safely and reports any potential job hazards to management. Maintains good housekeeping practices in assigned areas.
Performs all other duties as requested by management.
Knowledge, skills & abilities requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent plus technical trade school preferred
Mechanically inclined skills with intermediate electronic/electrical knowledge of hand and power tools, and general building maintenance in the areas of plumbing, painting and carpentry
Prefer prior a distribution/warehouse experience

Working conditions & physical requirements
The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts associated with working in a warehouse environment, which requires heightened safety precautions typical of loading/receiving docks and high-volume inventory management operations, e.g., use of safe work practices with light to heavy equipment, while utilizing forklifts and pallet jacks, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations, etc. Exposure to occasional fumes and odors and/or temperature fluctuations (25 degrees to 105 degrees Fahrenheit) is possible.
The position requires some physical exertion and the able to perform the basic lifting and system tasks for all warehouse functions and departments including receiving, put away, picking, packing, cycle counting, order checking and shipping. The work requires the repetitively lifting of cartons weighing 10 to 55 pounds, standing/walking for 6 to 10 hours a day, and climbing up and down stairs and ladders.

Responsibilities of a Behavior Technician/ RBT include:
· Provides one-on-one therapy to our clients as well as leads or assists in peer play and social groups.
· Helps children acquire new skills and work towards individualized goals tailored for improving communication, social interaction, problem solving, and adaptive living skills
· Uses of proper teaching, behavior change, Mand training procedures, and data collection.
· Works with BCBAs and provides feedback on childs progress

The Remote Maintenance Technician supports the remote camps and facilities overall operation and maintenance to include all interior and exterior lighting, kitchen and refrigeration equipment, heating and cooling equipment, envirovac toilet units, plumbing and electrical maintenance, fire control equipment, carpentry work and other areas as assigned. All duties are to be performed in accordance with NMS' mission, vision, and values.
This position will support the Mline Point Camp on the North Slope. This is a 2-week on & 2-week off rotational position. The point of hire origin is Anchorage, AK.
Responsibilities
* Provides the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
* Performs all assigned preventative maintenance work.
* Repair equipment and systems associated with remote envirovac stations including water and wastewater pumping, storage and distribution systems.
* Follows specifications, blueprints, manuals and schematic drawings for installation, maintenance and repair of structures and equipment.
* Uses hand and power tools, precision measuring and testing devices to test, diagnose, and repair equipment. Must be able to dismantle equipment and install working parts.
* Makes structure repairs to masonry, woodwork and furnishings, patch or replace plaster/plaster board, paint walls, ceilings, and trim.
* Maintains a log of all work performed, parts needed, or parts used on all work requests.
* Records utility readings and equipment readings daily and maintain current period readings in maintenance office.
* Clears clogged drains and repair plumbing fixtures.
* Assists in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems in all camps and facilities.
* Perform any carpentry work needed for maintain and repair camps and facilities.
* Removes ice and snow from sidewalks and entrances to the camps and facilities.
* Attends daily safety tool box meetings and is required to do job safety evaluations for each job.
* Notify supervisor if safety and sanitation standards are not being met.
* This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
* Other duties that are pertinent to the department or unit's success also may be assigned.
Qualifications
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* At least five (5) years of directly related camp maintenance experience to include but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and refrigeration repairs.
* A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under NMS' vehicle insurance policy.
* Must pass all pre-employment contract requirements which may include but are not limited to: background check, drug test, physical and fit for duty assessment and hearing test. Applicants not located near a testing facility are responsible for paying for travel to the nearest testing facility.
* Must be able to cooperate and work as part of a team with fellow employees, customers and clients.
* Must be able to make decisions in the moment with little to no supervision.
* Must be able to be on your feet for 12 hours per shift for the scheduled rotation.
* Must be able to live in dormitory style settings and meet cleanliness requirements of the remote camp.

Candidates residing in Alaska & the Lower 48 for any contract: For the purposes of pre-employment testing, Anchorage will be considered the point of hire (with the exception of drug testing, which will be conducted near the candidate's place of residence). Employee is responsible for any travel expenses and needed accommodations related to pre−employment tasks that need to be completed in Anchorage, AK.
