Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Mechanic
What This Job Involves
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for supporting the operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment and systems within assigned facilities. This position works alongside Mobile Engineers (HVAC/R) and Maintenance Technicians, performing various maintenance and repair tasks independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth functioning and safety of building operations.
Your Day-to-Day Tasks Will Include:
Maintaining lighting system bulbs and ballasts
Assisting the operations team in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment
Performing general interior maintenance such as HVAC/R coil cleaning, evaporator coil cleaning, and kitchen equipment maintenance (meat grinder, cuber, meat saw, slicers, etc.)
Completing minor plumbing repairs
Executing special tasks including painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests, and general maintenance as assigned
Being on call for after-hours emergencies
Complying with all safety procedures and maintaining good housekeeping and safety in work areas
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must have ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs.
Use ladders up to 30 ft.
Frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting required
Driving is a frequent part of the position
Maintains a clean and safe work environment
Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials
Recognizes danger and safety hazards and proposes methods to eliminate them
Required Qualifications:
Valid state driver's license
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Completion of an applicable technical training program (desirable)
Minimum of one (1) year applicable experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical
Mechanical and electrical aptitude
Ability to comply with Jones Lang LaSalle and client-directed Policies & Procedures
Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
Must pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening process

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Electrician provides support to plant operations and will trouble-shoot, repair, program, replace, maintain, and install electrical/electronic systems for production related equipment and building utilities within the facility. What You'll Do
Performs electrical maintenance across all plant areas, including control systems, power systems, and speed control drives

Position Overview:
Canton Drop Forge, a leading producer of large, closed die forgings in Canton, Ohio is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team.
Industrial Electricians' job duties may include running electronic tests and inspections, cleaning contacts or circuit boards, ensuring that systems are grounded and installing outlets, lighting fixtures and switches. Preventative measures such as oiling motors, bending conduit and replacing old wiring are also among their duties. When electrical systems break down, industrial electricians are responsible for troubleshooting and fixing the problem.
Key Responsibilities:
Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment such as robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers, following electrical code and blueprints, using hand tools and voltage tester.
Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
Diagnosis of malfunctioning apparatus, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, using test equipment and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables, using hand tools.
Test malfunctioning machinery, use test equipment and discusses malfunction with others to diagnose malfunction.
Replaces faulty electrical components of machines, such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices, using hand tools.
Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, using electronic test equipment and hand tools.
Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires motors.
May push buttons and press keys on robot controller, teach pendant, and programable controller to program for malfunctions, and to verify repairs.
May plan layout of wiring and install wiring conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
May diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
Diagnoses malfunctioning components, systems, and apparatus using testing tools and equipment.
Inspects electrical components for identifying defects, hazards, or need for repair or adjustment to ensure abidance with codes.
Informs supervisors regarding potential hazards and recommends corrective solutions.
Follows blueprints or prepares outlines to find out the location of equipment and wiring.
Planning layout to install electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment depending on the local codes and job specifications.
Replacing or repairing wiring, fixtures, or components using power tools and hand tools.
Physical Requirements:
High-school Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of technical or industrial Electrician experience
Familiarity with 480v Systems
