Prepare detailed reports documenting modifications, repairs, and maintenance procedures. Use data to develop recommendations for improvements in machine performance and operational efficiency. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in strict accordance with safety protocols, company policies, and OSHA regulations. Promote a safety-first culture and participate in safety audits and initiatives. Continuous Learning & Development: Continuously develop technical and leadership skills to stay at the forefront of industry trends and technologies. Take on progressively more complex projects and assignments, while also sharing knowledge with the team to enhance overall performance. What You'll Bring: Education: 4+ years of hands-on experience in maintenance, specifically with mechanical, electrical, PLC controls, robotics, pneumatics, and automated system High School diploma or GED required. Associates degree in a technical field or relevant certifications (mechanical, electrical, PLC, etc.) preferred. Certifications/Additional Skills (Preferred): Certification in maintenance-related trades or advanced technical training is a plus. Lift Maintenance Mechanics ensure the safety and reliability of our lifts by monitoring, maintaining and repairing lift equipment in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations. The ideal candidate holds a competent mechanical/electrical skill set and demonstrates an ability to positively work as part of a larger team. This is a full-time year-round position with pay range between $19-$35/hour depending on experience. This role also includes a sign on bonus paid $1000 after the first 6 months of employment, and a second $1000 paid after 12 months of employment to ensure longevity. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain and repair all lift equipment, ranging from conveyors to high-speed detachable quads. Duties during the winter operating season include regularly scheduled maintenance, pre-operational, mid-day, weekly, and monthly inspections as well as responding to lift breakdowns. The summer season includes a thorough inspection of all lift components, tower work, and grip and chair maintenance. Work on hydraulic systems, braking systems, rigging, gasoline and diesel engines up to 900 Hp, as well as low voltage safety circuits. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum two years of mechanical or electrical experience. Detachable lift experience is a plus. Must be able to work under timelines and pressure. The Industrial Maintenance Technician utilizes knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair machinery or equipment, diagnose issues with machinery components and determine when adjustments or repairs are needed. The incumbent will have an increasing level of responsibility with an increase of experience and expertise. Hiring Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour. Level C mechanical skills include grease bearings, knowledge of types of belts, lubrication (gear oils), ladders, use of all lifts and filter carts. Level C electrical skills include knowledge of wire sizes, splice connectors, knowledge of voltages, ability to read labels on sub panels to find main supply, ability to reset breakers and what to do if they continue to trip. Master Technician: Demonstrates the ability to complete and understands all Level C, B and A skills and equipment. Level A mechanical skills include vertical weld and overhead weld with stick, diagnose dialed motor, gearbox and pumps, rebuilds gearbox, solenoids, motors, pumps (hydraulic/water), reads hydraulic schematics, welds 1/2” steal or larger. Level A electrical skills and equipment include: Electrical schematics, low voltage, control wiring, 480/240/120 volts circuits, isolation tests on motors, diagnose prof. buss circuits, conduit size, wire size, and wire count, wire a new panel by schematic, and load calculation and balance panels. A master Technician should also demonstrate the ability to successfully lead and train a small team. Education, Experience & Qualifications The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, progressive technician training, 1-5 years experience diagnosing and repairing equipment, a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment and be legally eligible to work in the US. It is expected that the candidate is at least 18 years of age, has the ability to work overtime when needed, and has the physical ability to lift 50 pounds on a frequent basis. As a Solar Electrician (Journeyman) you are responsible for providing hands-on technical expertise to multiple PV plant sites on a continual/on-demand basis in order to meet all project maintenance requirements and troubleshoot/repair/resolve equipment issues such as emergency repairs and provide O&M support. In this role you will be called upon for your specific electrical skills and technical expertise in one or multiple disciplines including PV array, inverter, medium voltage, battery storage (BESS) and other solar services.
