Responsibilities
Successful electrician candidates will be primarily responsible for the construction and repair of electrical circuits needed to maintain an efficient, productive, and safe manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities include performing a full range of electrical and electronics duties including, but not limited to:

PLC's, and control systems; conduit installation

KI's Manufacturing plant in Bonduel has an opening in our Maintenance Department for an Electrical Maintenance Technician. The Electrical Maintenance Technician Position maintains and troubleshoots current production equipment. This position will have an emphasis on electrical work.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
Inspect, troubleshoot, install and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machine electrical systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand the layout of electrical systems.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuit diagrams.
Familiarity with electrical codes standards, and safety regulations
Successful candidates will
Collaborate with other maintenance staff to complete projects and improve operational efficiency.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety.
Be highly motivated a have a positive attitude
This is a first shift position. The hours are primarily 5a-2p Monday - Friday with overtime and weekends required during peak production (summer months).

The Role
Assist drill operators and locators with equipment to complete assigned projects
Will work in and around both standard and high-risk areas with live utilities
Will learn about utility depths and placements
Ensure vehicles, equipment and tools are properly maintained, in good repair and secured in a safe manner
Review field designs and work with drill team to communicate discrepancies to supervisor for change orders
Properly document all work completed to include pothole and bore logs
Will learn and assist with conduit splicing, vault/pedestal placement and fiber/coax placement as needed
Complete general restoration and cleanup
Complete all projects with safety as the #1 priority, ensuring compliance with internal safety standards and all governmental orders

Requirements
Underground telecommunications construction or installation experience (entry level will not need experience but also seeking those with experience and CDL)
Ability to travel daily, out of state as needed, with company provided accommodations and per diems
Ability to work outside of business hours when needed, overtime, holidays, evenings, weekends etc., in all seasons
Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
High level of energy, motivation and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task, shifting from one task to another without interruption
