Responsibilities MV Transportation is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager who will be a dynamic, multi-task oriented senior professional to manage all day-to-day maintenance aspects of this fixed route bus operation. The Fleet Maintenance Manager will ensure that all contractual requirements are achieved, and duties included will consist of daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports. Seeking a highly qualified Building Maintenance Manager to oversee, coordinate and manage the operation and maintenance of all Refrigeration, Boilers, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire/Life systems in a 27/7 commercial food service kitchen, in addition to managing a fleet of hi-lift trucks for aircraft catering, ramp vans, and other company vehicles. Essential Functions: Provide leadership, supervision, and schedule of the Maintenance Team, tasks specific to skills, training in all kitchen facility operations, and encourage ideas, methods, and processes for improvement. The daily operation is to repair and preventative maintenance (PM) of all MEP&R systems, fleet management, maintenance, and energy consumption and analysis. In this role, you will: + Conduct various tests or experiments which may require minor modifications in test setups or procedures as well as subjective judgments in measurement; selects, sets up, and operates standard test equipment and records test data. + Receive initial instructions and equipment requirements; perform recurring work independently; work is reviewed for technical adequacy or conformity with instructions including troubleshooting and correcting malfunctions. + Perform assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed such as: Constructs components, subunits, or simple models or adapts standard equipment. + Gather and maintain specified records of engineering data such as tests, drawings, etc.; performs computations by substituting numbers in specified formulas; plots data and draws simple curves and graphs. + Perform tasks or tests such as tensile or hardness tests; operates and adjusts simple test equipment; records test data. To be successful in this role, you will have: + 5 years of Shipboard Experience + A High School Diploma or equivalent. + The ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance. + The ability to be able to obtain and gain access to shipyards (NAVSTA & DBIDS), undergo a background investigation and pass a drug screening. + The ability obtain an OSHA certification + Familiarity with NAVSEA, standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of electrical repair, fabrication, and installation. + The ability to work in high heat spaces, climb shipyard dry dock stairs/ladders, work in kneeling position for layout of cable runs under false decking, lift up to 50 pounds with 80% of work requiring carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 40 pounds for majority of shift while being in a standing, crouching, or walking position. + Attention to safety, which is critical. + Be able to get respirator qualified and wear proper PPE throughout their work shift. + The ability and willingness to travel up to 25% to various work sites such as Bremerton, WA, Everett, WA, Pearl Harbor, HI, Mayport, FL & Yokosuka Japan. + The ability to work onsite in Chesapeake, VA.
