Qualifications & Skills 3 to 5 years of experience in ammonia refrigeration and maintenance. CIRO Certification or ability to obtain RETA CIRO Certification within an acceptable timeframe. Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) and industrial refrigeration systems. Proficiency in NEC (National Electrical Code) and ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings. Experience with building maintenance, freezer doors, truck bay levelers, and restraints. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work in temperature extremes ranging from -40°F to 110°F. Willingness to work after hours, weekends, and overtime as needed. Ability to work on elevated equipment and stand or stoop for prolonged periods. Key Responsibilities Oversee the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of the Ammonia Refrigeration System and other facility mechanical components. Manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency. Monitor Work Quality: Oversee the quality of electrical work, ensuring it meets or exceeds project standards and compliance with all relevant regulations. Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Identify and resolve technical and logistical problems encountered by the electrical team during construction activities. Provide Technical Guidance: Offer expert advice and technical guidance to the team, ensuring they are trained on the latest electrical standards and practices. Report Progress and Challenges: Regularly report to project management on progress, challenges, and the status of the electrical work to ensure transparency and prompt resolution of issues. Requirements: Must be a US or Australian citizen Must have a US TS/SCI Clearance w/ Poly, or an Australian PV clearance Must have a Journeyman or Master Electrical License (or AUS Equivalent) Must have a minimum of seven years of electrical engineering experience Must have a minimum of three years of supervisory experience, Completion of courses or certifications in leadership or management is highly recommended. Safety Certification: Training and certification in electrical safety, OSHA standards, and other relevant safety protocols. Ability to maximize technical, performance, and operational efficiencies and minimize lifecycle costs. Ability to maximize services and capabilities, provisioned as a service. Ability to work in fast paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills.
