The Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within the facility. This role ensures that all machinery, equipment, and systems are maintained in optimal working condition to support production efficiency and compliance with safety standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Lead the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and support. Electrician, Maintenance Under general supervision, performs the full range of skilled, journeyman level Electrician duties in order to support the education mission of the District and to enhance the education environment. Ability to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install rigid galvanized electrical conduit, using tools such as a pipe threader, conduit bender and other standard tools of the trade. Ability to interact with supervisors, staff, vendors, co-workers and the public using a positive, collaborative approach. Ability to problem solve and engage necessary staff/supervisors to address facility issues. Initiative and ability to work with minimal direction or monitoring; sound judgment and decision making capabilities are essential.
