As an Electrician you will perform basic and preventative plant maintenance and operational field support. You will maintain and track tools and parts inventory and ensure that all equipment repairs are performed accurately to manufacturer standards. Starting at $24 per hour, frequent overtime!
Requirements:

Completion of an apprenticeship program or Electrician certification strongly preferred.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures; assist with physical inspections of plant property/departments and immediate reporting of unsafe conditions and or accidents.
Open pit mining operations and aggregate products experience a plus.
MSHA Part 48 training a plus.
Work Availability - Be available to work six days a week (Monday-Saturday) and occasionally on Sunday.

Requirements:

Strong working knowledge of standard plant industrial instrumentation including pressure and temperature transmitters, sensors, control valves, etc.

Essential Duties:
Supports the production of safe, high quality products and team member safety
Familiar with NEC codes and the codebook.
Able to troubleshoot electrical/electronic control circuits.
Ability to pass a HAZMAT physical
PLC experience a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Prepares requisitions for materials/parts required to complete work orders.
Creates work orders, closes them when complete, and accounts for time spent on tasks in our computerized Maintenance Management System.
Complies with all safety & GMP regulations.
Follows all company rules, policies and procedures.
Maintains membership and training in the company emergency response team as outlined by OSHA, 29 CFR 1910.120 (HAZMAT)
Must be forklift certified or obtain the qualification within the probationary period.
Availability to work a variable schedule on occasion to cover other team member time off.

Role & Responsibilities:
Work safely as a top priority by adhering to the plant's accident prevention policies. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Safely install, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical components within the manufacturing plant.
Maintain, test and repair AC/DC motors and motor control systems.
Develop skill set to troubleshoot advanced control system and instrumentation equipment including PLC controls.
Interpret and use wiring schematics.
Operate electrical test equipment inherent to the job.
Know and understand NEC codes, become trained in NFPA-70E, and practice all other electrician duties in a manufacturing environment
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must have the desired technical skills to safely and proficiently work as an electrician in a plant setting.
Possess basic mechanical maintenance skills.
Ability to interpret and perform tasks as detailed on printed work orders.
Basic computer skills needed to complete safety training and review work-related email.
Ability to operate equipment as needed, including forklifts, etc.
Familiar with common hand tools and how to properly use them.
Good collaboration skills and ability to work as part of a team.
